I took my parents here for dinner to celebrate a birthday. The hostesses were rude and made passive aggressive comments to my parents. They acknowledged that we were celebrating a birthday, but that information didn't get passed to the server. The server was a bit passive aggressive and had a slight attitude. She also forgot to bring some of the things that we ordered. I ordered the prime rib, a special, which was not that special to say the least... It had so much fat on it, and no flavor. I regret not sending it back. The grand total for 4 people (not including tip) was $338, for a very disappointing meal. I will not be returning here.

Just went to BLK on Friday (8/15) with my family on our way to L.A. The experience was absolutely incredible. Jessica was our waitress and she KILLED it! Service was top notch! She offered to take a pic of my family which was super important to me. Everyone was so kind. We will be back again.

Good food and service. Entrance is a little hard to find, but worth finding. There is parking under the building that they will validate 2 hours.

Great delicious food, attentive service and if you can get seated on the patio, it adds to the experience. But don't hesitate, inside seating also brings a very nice atmosphere to enjoy.
I shall return on my next visit, it's worth my earnings.

This is the best place to visit in Huntington beach. View is perfect, you will have prime seats to the ocean but without wind and crowds. Food is absolutely fantastic. Everything we had here was great. Kids or adults. Atmosphere is perfect too. We are coming here every time we come to Huntington beach and for sure will continue like that. Service was great. Thank you Lauren for great experience. Our family really enjoyed dining here.

Blk. is hands down one of the best spots in Huntington Beach. Blake is always amazing—friendly, professional, and makes the absolute best cocktails in town. You can tell he cares about every drink he pours. The food is consistently fantastic, with flavors that impress every time. Whether you’re going for a casual bite or a night out, the atmosphere is always on point. Their happy hour specials are unbeatable, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy great food and drinks without breaking the bank. If you’re in HB, do yourself a favor and stop by blk.—you won’t regret it!

The food was outstanding, but the beers were a letdown. They weren’t as cold as expected, and despite the waitress mentioning bubbles, they were still disappointingly flat. This wasn’t just my beer; it was the same for the entire table. For the price, I was expecting a crisp, refreshing beer to complement the meal.

Additionally, we split the bill, but when the receipts came back, one total was $10 higher than the other, and one card was charged $250 on the receipt, while the online charge showed $300. We requested an itemized receipt, and after the waitress took both receipts away, they returned with identical totals. The situation felt a bit suspicious.

Blk is an amazing restaurant. The service is great and the food….OUTSTANDING!!! I got a filet steak and I told them to cook it medium rare. It was cooked exactly to my liking and it was the best steak that I have ever had. Also the restaurant manager is so kind. While we were eating he came out and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything he would get it. Our waitress was amazing. Once my daughter ran out of water they asked to refill it. She also got a sprite and once she finished it they asked me if she could have more. I highly recommend Blk.

The service and waitress were very nice and helpful, and the location and atmosphere were pleasant. However, the reason for the 3-star review is the food. My daughter and I had the filet medallions and Halibut, and both were disappointing. I understand that you're paying for the location and vibe, but the food should be exceptional for the price. Maybe we will give it another try when we return.

Ambiance was amazing... for that, you get a single star. The rest was awful. I'm convinced this place must buy good reviews or something. The calamari was not hitting the mark. It was fishy and not great. The clam chowder, lacking flavor. Both of my friends ordered the herb crusted sirloin, we had to send both back because they ordered medium rare and received medium cooked steaks. Then our server tried to give one back after we already sent it back, and said it was actually medium rare. It was well done. The manager never even came to talk to us, which I thought was weird they had our poor waiter try to convince us our overcooked steak was medium rare instead of sending out the manager to apologize. Anyways, I won't be back and wish I went somewhere with better food.

It lost a star because it charges a 3% credit card fee. For a higher restaurant that charges $51 for a filet with no sides who carries cash with them to supper?

We had a wonderful meal and our server, Gabby, was the highlight of our night. She was a gem and we were so thankful for her expertise and professionalism. 10/10 recommend.
