Worst Experience ever!Ive been living across the street at Pac City Residences for the past 5 years and dinning at Blue Gold for about the same amount of time . Last night I walked in with my neighbor ( huge influencer), he's girlfriend and her friend from LA trying out this place for the first time. . We sat down and it took forever for someone to come over to just to serve us water. Brittney (worst server ever) finally came over and took our drink and appetizer order and thats when the abuse started . She was verbally abusive to us , checked out , rude and entitled. Before any alcoholic drink showed up to our table the manager with no leadership skills came to scold us about under age drinking , little that they know that the two gals that where with us don't drink. SMH ?♂️ . Meanwhile Brittany messed up our whole order. Drinks took forever , we ordered a dozen of oysters , 6 showed up . Bread never made it to the table we had to ask again. The drinks where not as requested. We asked for lemon , she comes back and slams it on the table without even looking at us and with terrible energy. I finally took care of the bill which was over $100 and we decided to leave.As we exit Brittany comes out screaming with accusations in front of the whole Restaurant that we had not paid our bill . They made a huge scene , the manager runs to what was our table and discovered that our bill had been paid. Ive never been so humiliated and belittled like that in my life. Obviously we were discriminated and judged upon as we walked in.Im a professional, working actor with many credits like the "Original Green Ranger " and "Black Space Ranger " in the hit television series " Power Rangers " with almost 100 episodes under my belt. I have a huge following. Im very professional, polite and have also ran many companies. I've dined in many restaurants throughout the years and I have never been treated this way. The staff needs to be trained on communication and Leadership skills. They need to learn how to speak from the heart and not their ego. Or if they don't want to deal with the public then go do something else , your'e in the service business . Sad to say but this all starts at the top with the manager . I told them very clearly that I would be expressing my review here. Next Im calling corporate they definitely need to be aware of this . Was completely ignored by the extremely rude server britney who got our entire order wrong, did not check up on us at all, even though the entire order was wrong we did not get anything compensated. Then after paying the bill with another server Britney then runs outside and accuses us of not paying the bill. Do not go to this establishment, rude, awful, and they seriously need to get better servers and management so so so bad and it seems like it has happened before many times. Disgusting behavior.

Britney is the worst waitress ever she accused my 24 year old boyfriend of underage drinking and then after she did not even serve our table after multiple over servers gave us the bill then she ran out and accused us of not paying the bill. Awful service, they took over 30 minutes to give us drinks and then over an hour for food and she messed up our entire order and they took nothing off. Awful awful awful absolutely humiliating do not go here.
The food here is really just okay. The tapas platter was solid, apart from some very soft and gross olives. But the mains were really lacking. I had a chicken dish and my partner had lamb. Both were underwhelming - lacking seasoning maybe? We didn't finish them. Go to the Black Trumpet instead, and get the veal meatballs. You can only just see the Pacific from most of this place anyhow.

Probably the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Server forgot an appetizer, and an entree. The entree finally came after the rest of the table had been finished for 20 mins. There was no apology and or communication as to what they could do to make it better. We then sat at our table and waited and waited for someone to bring us a bill or somehow acknowledge us. Not one plate got cleaned up, we didn’t get offered another drink, dessert nothing! We were completely ignored. It was beyond terrible.To top it off the food was terrible. The steak was nothing but fat. We couldn’t complain because no one checked on us. Unfortunately, the sprouts were nearly burnt, and the pita was excessively oily, emitting a strong scent like ghee oil. Although we tried to be understanding and refrained from complaining at the time, upon returning home, we all experienced nausea. Despite the server's excellent service and my generous cash tip of over 20 percent, I must express my profound disappointment with the food's quality. Unfortunately I was the one who offered the restaurant and it was not a good experience!

8 pm Fri 3/8. Came after Equinox workout next door and sat at the bar because Bluegold was pretty busy. Great staff esp bartenders. I did the OC Restaurant Week $45 menu which was a steal. I look forward to coming back to try the ciopinno and a few more items.

Delicious food. Loved the Brussel sprouts. Crunchy deliciousness. The shrimp were huge (im allergic but everyone else loved them). The tuna tarar was so good we ordered 2 more. The service was a bit lacking - i think they were understaffed. He was great but hard to find. The lamb was dense and delicious. We were so stuffed we had no room for dessert.
