I am blown away, this is THE GEM of Huntington Beach, the absolute best food, the best service, and the best atmosphere. They took it up a notch from what I’m used to around here. Everything screams excellence. Try the Braised Short Rib! The lady with the purple hair looks like she wants to be at work and her smile and gentle demeanor makes this place a great place for me to keep returning.

Great experience. The host was a green and gave my date a blanket because we dined outside. Food was delicious the place was elegant.

Bar food that’s disguised as upscale. The food was SO greasy with no flavor. The wines were not good either if you’re a wine person don’t expect much from this place. If you’re just looking for a casual bite to eat then this will suffice but it’s not an upscale restaurant by any means. Overpriced for what you’re getting.

So... this was a really hard review. So I walk by, and the place is packed because they are hosting a tequila tasting. From the outside the place resembles a cool fine dining bistro as I walk in the crowd is diverse in age but first hint the dinning isn't as fine as it first appeared are the lack of tables clothes. There's also a TV over the bar with sports. Now I'm thinking maybe it's a sports bar... Then I'm handed a beautiful multi page leather bond wine list that's followed by a laminated menu and printed list of the specials of the day. Hmmm Denny's lamination... I take a seat at the bar, and there is a list of the most incredible craft cocktails... I'm so confused... I have no idea wat type of establishment I've entered... I dare to order an appetizer. A beef chip... wtf is a beef chip... well, it's beef carpaccio on a chip with the most bland horseradish you've ever had. The craft cocktail was delicious, but after some considerations, I decided to leave this place to find a restaurant that was a bit less bipolar... I give it 2 1/2 Forks up

The pictures don’t do this place justice. Small unassuming local eatery on the quieter side of downtown. The menu is not your average cookie cutter “beachside” sando and French fry. You can tell the chef takes pride in their dishes and elevates the simplest of ingredients. I was shocked to see these prices for the level of fine dining cuisine I received. I will definitely be back.
I absolutely loved the grilled salmon paired with their whiskey old fashioned drink.
The decor has a homey feel to it with its swivel couches and garage style windows. Not to mention the live music and friendly staff.

This restaurant is fortunate to be located in a popular area, yet even on the 4th of July, there were available seats.
The place boasts an extensive wine list and seems more focused on drinks and cocktails rather than traditional food. However, it's worth noting that the beer selection is quite limited.
When it comes to the food, be prepared for small portion sizes, so you might not leave feeling completely full. That said, the dishes are unique, with noticeable experimentation in flavors. One downside, however, is the lack of customization options. For instance, I find it odd that when you request to replace chips with any other side for a burger, there’s no flexibility at all.

You really need an advanced palette for this place. Margherita pizza is probably the best food for kids and people who are a bit picky. Pictured was the flatbread/pizza of the day ($20). Live music was nice. Bathroom was clean but there were rocks in the drain. Staff is great and owner was asking how our food was. Flatbread pizzas seemed a bit pricey at about $20 each for a pretty small pizza. It’s supposedly authentic though.
Parking: You can’t park near the restaurant you have to park a ways down the street and pay for it
Kid-friendliness: No kids menu
