Living here most my life I normally stick to with what I know, however husband and I walked by and they had a sign out saying $10 espresso martini and since I never had one I thought I’ll try it, husband ordered a Tito’s and soda water with a small pour, tastes like pure soda water and bartender overheard me saying this, we had a brief conversation with our very dry boring bartender, we never mentioned to him about the weak pour but he had to throw in that the place isn’t a dive bar, we thought uh okay? Pre judging us for sure, his soda water was $14!! We will never return and I seriously regret not taking that drink back, I also regret tipping the jerk. Manager who was present never once approached us but he did with the other couple sitting at the bar, horrible people, and very weak pour, as locals we will never recommend this place, my husband is a ex pro body boarder, we live downtown and dress HB casual. Maybe we looked like poverty to the guy with the “dive bar” remark

I stopped by here for a late lunch with my mom! The food was amazing, we got the cold noodle salad, green goddess salad with chicken and a small charcuterie board. Everything was really high quality & super good! I can't wait to come back Wednesday for wine Wednesday!! Highly recommend 10/10!

Ambiance is excellent. Staff is very sweet and attentive. Seating is cozy. Drinks are nice as well. My issue is with the food. I've been here 2 times now and the flavor is never worth the price. This is the type of restaurant that only seasons with mayo, butter and salt. The cold noodles they serve is extremely bland. Their peanut sauce tasted oddly like just straight mayo??? Mayo covered noodles is not appetizing lol. I made myself finish my meal because it was expensive. The last time I was here I ordered their seasonal butternut squash soup. The presentation was very nice in a mini stoneware set. But the soup was so salty that I couldn't finish it. I shared it with my friends to see if they felt the same way and they agreed it was way too salty. I wish their food was better because this place really is super cute. But a restaurant with bad food just doesn't make sense.

Wednesdays are an incredible day to go! Half price on bottles of wine $50.00 and over. Such a fantastic deal and there are so many great choices. My husband had the duck sandwich and it was fantastic. All the flavors in this sandwich were amazing and so delicious. I had the French onion soup. The bread was served on the side. It was so much fun to dip! Our server Anna was fantastic and our previous server Jamie was equally great. All staff super friendly we encountered. We sat in the patio because we brought our dog. Heaters were turned on for us immediately. Thank you for having us! We will be back!

This wine bar is tucked away but glad we came across it. The wine selection is extensive. I opted for the Avissi Prosecco which tasted extremely crisp and fresh. The glassware was really elegant which added to the overall experience. They have a brunch menu on Saturday & Sunday and the options are very light. The avocado toast was pretty good. The goddess salad, however, was delicious and presented beautifully. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was nice and informed us that there is live music on Thursday and Friday nights along with wine specials during the week. I look forward to returning.

Absolutely the best bloody Mary's in town. You want spicy they give you legit spicy. Everything they do here is done with heart. Love this spot.

My compliments to the chef and staff here at Brightwaters. Fairly new to Huntington Beach but already made a name for themselves with their extensive wine list and their delicious food.I tried the Short Rib over polenta and the Mashed potatoes. Both were delicious, I definitely want to come back to try their brunch menu on Sat/Sun.

I'm hesitant to give this restaurant 5 Stars only because I want to keep it a secret. This venue is truly a gem. The food and beverages are astounding. The duck confit sandwich was one of the best sandwiches i've ever had. The bread is soft and fresh and the meat was flavorful and savory. The chocolate dessert melted in our mouths. The wine & champagne flights did not disappoint. We'll definitely be returning.

From the moment I walked into Brightwaters, I was enveloped by a cozy, dimly-lit ambiance that felt instantly inviting. The staff was both attentive and friendly, ensuring that our experience was seamless from start to finish. The drinks did not disappoint! I particularly enjoyed the "Going Green" for its refreshingly tart flavor. As for the food, the two meat, three cheese charcuterie board was a palate pleaser, with each component being delicious. While the sashimi in the sashimi salad was somewhat limited in portion, its quality and taste were undeniable. The Warm Mushroom Toast was an unexpected star of the evening--flavorful and satiating. While Brightwaters isn't the cheapest option around, it's one of those places where you truly feel you're getting value for your money. The quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service all align to justify the prices. The added bonuses of plentiful parking and live music elevate the overall experience. However, given its popularity and intimate setting, I'd highly recommend making a reservation. I'll certainly be revisiting and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.

Come on wine Wednesday for 50% off any bottle over $50!! Music on Thursday and Friday. Tonight was Rebel Robbie on the mic. Singing and guitar/ bass duo, really good! Annie is the owner and she was a very sweet lady, come and support her! Great wine options, tons of local California wines and imports, alike! Check out their current menu in my photos... note I could only upload so many. Their wine menu is extensive. Lots of good varietals from local to imported. Clean restrooms and great vibe. Excited to try some food here.. they also have specials. Customer service won't be disappointing here like some spots downtown can be. An upscale, classy, romantic/ intimate vibe here so perfect for a date night or after date cocktail/ glass of wine.. happy to have something take this spot over as the previous tenant had not been replaced for what seemed like years on this corner.
