The Bruster's crew is always very nice and friendly. We seem to go at peak times and the young ladies are always smiling and hustling those orders out.
Looks good, I will try next time
Not bad! I had the chocolate raspberry truffle and it was very smooth and tasty.
Non dine in ice cream place. Great ice cream. Mid price, non heated outside dining so it’s cold on the winter

They have my ultimate favorite salted caramel ice cream. I tried something new scotch pecan and butter brittle I think it was. Absolutely heaven to my taste buds. All on a waffle cone. Loved it.

Had a bad experience after visiting there theee times, my wife got a watery milk shake the employee refused to make a new one and tried really hard to charge me for another one or for more ice cream in it, my wife told me it just taste like milk, I was getting helped by Bryce Navarette but he stopped responding and never issued me a certificate or anything, I’ve been going to hot off the grill for milk shake and man it’s way better than this establishment, good bye

We tried 5 different flavors and it was ok .. The flavors were not outstanding or particularly natural tasting. Better than Baskins, friendly staff and clean premises, but outdoor only. $3.75 a scoop

My older son warned me before going to Brusters in Huntington Beach (near Warner and Gothard) last night..."don't do it. Go to DQ or Cold Stone instead". However, I remember my previous experiences a few years ago and I liked Brusters. Since it had been a while since I had gone, I decided to go to Brusters.
The location has really gone downhill from when it opened. The outside sitting area was not clean and it did not look like the employees really cared about the store's appearance. The lack of caring is more than likely because the employees may not fall under Newsom's $20 minimum wage for fast food franchise workers.
The ice cream tasted much better a few years back. In the words of my 14 year old son upon receiving his mint chip ice cream (he had tasted two other flavors that he stated tasted like (donkey)), "the mint chip tastes like the fluoride you get from a dentists office".
There is a Cold Stone less then 2 minutes away on Warner / Golden West...last night will be the last time I visit Brusters. For $6 at Brusters, you receive a very small scoop of ice cream and the staff seemed to be upset that I only tipped $1 on an $18 order. However, when all that's involved is opening an upright freezer and putting in a little ice cream, what do you expect? I regret tipping at all.
At Cold Stone, the portions are way more generous and the taste is far better. I have no problem tipping at Cold Stone as there is actually work involved in making the ice cream.
During the pandemic in the summertime when Brusters opened up, there was a huge line out the door. However, there was only one other family sitting outside. I would be surprised if the Huntington Beach location stayed in business.
To make the location better would suggest: (a) giving more generous portions and (b) improving the flavors of what is being offered via add ons (similar to Cold Stone) or improving the quality of the ice cream.
Best of luck and hopefully the location can make the necessary changes to bring back customers.
Parking: Given that no one is going, if you are there at night...should not be a problem.

The ice cream is great. It always is. ALWAYS. But, what stood out on this visit was the service. We were in the middle of ordering when another customer pushed in front of us to tell the cashier Delaney that her order was wrong. She was super rude and condescending to the poor girl, who handled it with grace and never lost her smile. She handled that quickly and competently, and then finished with us. She was great

Wifey and I enjoy coming here for ice cream. Our favorite is the ice cream cakes, and seasonal Pineapple Coconut Flavor.

Really confused as to what the hype is. Infinitely prefer Haagen Daz. Sampled several flavors and none were great, we wanted to leave but felt bad not buying anything after so many samples so got a small one. Great vibes though.
