Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

Met my Father here to celebrate his Birthday. Just him and I. It was his choice since he was coming from Bel Air (off of Sunset, not a close drive). He chose this place because of hype about their “Meatballs”, which is what he got over spaghetti, and it did not disappoint. I got the Lunch portion of Eggplant Parmesan with penne Alfredo. It also did not disappoint! In fact, it is probably one of the best Eggplant Parmesans' I have ever had. We also got the Margarita pizza for an appetizer. However, this is where everything fell short and it continued to the end of the meal. First, the pizza was ordered as an appetizer, came after our meals were served! The excuse was, entrees came up first and she didn't want them to sit in the window and get cold. No, I believe that is timing of when the order was placed. When we did get the pizza, it was the thinnest crust I have ever seen, tasted great, but not resilient enough for us to continue the entrees and visit at the same time. As I mentioned, it was my Fathers Birthday, 78. I not only put that in my reservation, I mentioned it to the host and we also told our server, whom also was celebrating hers this month. As the meal ended, there was no celebration dessert, scoop of ice cream, a mint, something. But the table across the way got something. Very disappointed. Thank goodness, Mandy our server had an awesome personalty because we like our order brought in the order in which we ordered it, who doesn't.

We went for a work function. Our server Julio was great - he was attentive, kept the food and drinks flowing and helped with recommendations. We sat in the Pope room, the ambience was fun and the food was abundant and delicious.

We were celebrating our birthday as indicated in the reservation but that was now acknowledged, we ended just eating and getting out of there.

Food was great, Tina, our server was great, very personable and knowledgeable. Try to get her if when you go. works Wed-Sat, in the afternoons.

Great comfort food. Large portions, so if you're a smaller group or couple; plan on taking leftovers home even while ordering the small size of an appetizer, main and salad or vegetable side and good garlic bread. They have good takeout containers. Attentive service, lots if birthday clapping and cheers while we were there at various tables.

We had the best waitress ever. It was a birthday celebration and she made it very special.

They were able to take a large party reservation of 13 in short notice. The food is served family style which will be shared among people. The portions are HUGE. One large order of pasta is more than enough to feed 10 people. We enjoyed the food and had a lot of leftovers. Service is also great. They made sure our party is well taken care of. We will consider this place again if we need a venue for large party

After being at Disneyland for 3 days, we headed to the beach. We saw Buca right off of the 405 and knew we had to stop, so we did. I live out of state and hadn't been in a long time. I had my mom and daughters with me, so it was my kids first time! They Loved the ambience, the music and photos on the wall are entertaining. Even the elevator to the bathroom. Then, our server, Tina put our experience over the edge! I have never in my 39 years felt so taken care of, so attended to. She helped us make our final decisions on what to order. She made sure my youngest enjoyed a couple Shirley Temples. Tina is like the auntie you dream of... she was so friendly and made sure we enjoyed our time. She went above and beyond!!! Buca needs to hire more people like her! She's a gem for of love. ❤️ I don't live close by but we will be going back to that location just to see Tina again! The food was delicious and my kids loved everything they tried. Garlic cheese bread, apple Gorgonzola salad, chicken parmigiana, chicken saltimbocca, and shrimp Rosa pasta. Too it off with the martini brownies ala mode!!! Thanks, Tina, for a meal to remember! We will be back!
