Every time my husband and I have tried to go there. They are closed during the day. Even right now it says they are open but no one is in there.

Every weekend this place is blasting very loud DJ music until the middle of the night with no regard to the neighborhood it backs up against. The owner said to call her when that happens but then ignores the text, meanwhile homes with babies are getting blasted until the late hours with crazy loud music. Cops have told them to turn it down and when the cops leave they turn it right back up. That spot has had multiple restaurants that were all good neighbors but this place doesn't care.

The hours on this place say 11 AM to 7 PM. But the only time they have ever been opened was after 7 PM on the weekend as a dance club. I think they use the restaurant business as a front so they can use it as a dance club. I don't even think they have an entertainment license

Sad to say, but I went again on a weeknight and I took my daughter and son-in-law and this time it was completely different. There were very little choices and the food looked kind of dried up and not that appetizing. So sad. I was really hoping this place would be great but I was disappointed. Also the person at the front desk didn't seem to know too much about the offerings. They advertise takeout but he didn't know the prices or anything.

WOW. Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday. Four of us. No other customers there and I can understand why. It literally felt like the heater was on. "Waitress" showed us our table and never returned. Never even told us to fetch our own water/soda- husband asked after choking on some spicy slop. She pointed towards a hallway which had a fill yourself soda and water dispenser. Waitress brought us some corn tortillas as we finished what little we ate from our plate. Luckily there were little plastic advertisement cards on the table that we used to fan ourselves. Did not go back for 2nds. The sign showing "Taco and Quesadilla " bar was vacant. The metal pans behind the glass with signs saying -Tamales- were empty. I'm sorry to say, but I cannot recommend this place.

This is a new restaurant my husband and I just tried for the first time, and we were both very pleased with the food and the service. From the outside, there is nothing that would necessarily get your attention. It is located in an inside corner of a shopping center on Edwards & Bolsa near a liquor store, barber shop, another small restaurant and a beauty salon. Inside, it's clean, basic and the staff is friendly. The food is like home made food, not artificial or pretentious in any way. It is a Mexican buffet with several stew type offerings as well as tacos and quesadillas and fresh hand made tortillas. They also have menudo and pozole. I tried the pozole, chile relleno, beef birria, carnitas in green sauce, mole, rice and beans. All were good! I also had a carne asada taco, probably that was my least favorite thing that I tried, but my husband really liked it. He also loved the mole! And the price, $12.99, was absolutely unbeatable for what you get!!! Seriously, I'm not kidding. You can also get take out, one entree, rice, beans and tortillas for $5.99. They also have a room for a larger group or an actual banquet room that seats 100 guests. On the down side, they do not serve alcohol and I did not see any guacamole. We will be going back for sure and I wish them well in their new business.

The food was good and the price was great! They have a reasonable variety of dishes that taste authentic, like home made. I thought the service was good, friendly. I will return.
