My wife is from outside of Italy and her brother is one of the top chefs there. We are so picky with authentic Italian food and we were so impressed with the quality and taste of our dinner! Hands down the best Italian place we’ve found in Orange County! We are so excited to have found this place. Compliments to the chef. They know what they are doing!!!!!!

We just moved down the street and thought we would check this place out. Our server Victor was excellent. He recommended the “PENNE FUNGI E SALSICCE.” It was phenomenal. My girlfriend had the salmon salad which was very good as well. We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pasta

Our new favorite Italian restaurant in Orange County. If you're looking for a place with super fresh seafood, great wine, a spectacular atmosphere, and incredibly great service, you need to eat here.

We always enjoy our experience. The food is good although sometimes it's hit and miss and the restaurant tends to be very noisy so we usually ask for a table or booth away from the main floor.

Great food and drink. Everything ordered for our party of six was delicious and found pricing to be good as well. Only complaint was the restaurant appeared to be slightly understaffed and we waited a while for next course. Also hoping the upstairs seating reopens as it would help the overall noise level.

CUCIMA ALESSÁ is a joy. A comfortable eatery, where the diners are treated with marvelous flavors and respectful service. The menu is well crafted, creative, and delicious. A selection of meats and vegan alternatives are presented. Service is impeccable.Salvador, our server, and the serving team support each other. Even during a very busy holiday dinner, we never felt ignored. Our water glasses were never empty. One of our party has an allergy to garlic. She selected a dish which used the seasoning and asked if it could not be used. Salvador went to the kitchen and brought the Chef back to explain that the dish is marinated with garlic 24 hours before cooking. She changed her order to Pescatore. There were three at our table. We began our meals with appetizers of Focaccia bread with an flavored olive oil dip and Shoestring Fries flavored with Truffle oil. Seductively delicious. Our entrees arrived about 15 minutes later.Butternut Squash Ravioli in Pomodoro (tomato) sauce, Vegan Tofu Ravioli also in the Pomodoro sauce, and Pescatore, angel hair pasta with mussels, clams, calamari, and shrimp sautéed in a white wine-tomato sauce. (sans garlic) All were flavorful, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed.STUFF: Patio and indoor seating are offered. A full service bar is located on the first floor. The restaurant's first floor is ADA compatible. Street parking.Wheelchair accessibility: First floor is ADA compatible.

The place was beautiful, and the workers were very respectful. They checked in with one very often and made sure everything was perfect. The food was very good and tasty. Will definitely be back again!

Cucina Alessa never fails to please. Service hi was a little slow today but they did have a party of 30+ people upstairs and we were warned it might take a while for us to get our food. Lucky for us, we were there to visit with an out of town friend and had plenty of leisure time.

I was pretty disappointed in this place upon arrival. We let them know we had reservations that we had made two weeks prior and they told us we would still have to wait 20 minutes. In the meantime they are seating walk-ins I am assuming they are locals. Our waiter was terrible. He tried to make it up by buying us each a drink. But waiting for someone to come and just see if you want water for 20 minutes is beyond comprehension. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant however, I'm going to say the food was subpar. I don't think we will be visiting this establishment again. There's not enough time in the day to wait 30 to 45 minutes for my meal. We were here for 2 hours ridiculous.

This place sadly simply sucks! Don't upset the illegal? Mexicans working their or you'll be dealing with 4-5 of them like I had too. Unbelievable what went down that afternoon because of hate and ignorance. CAPONES in the Newland Center blows this place AWAY. Service, Food and atmosphere is amazing in comparison or their other facilities on PCH in Newport Beach are so much better in all aspects! Thanks ?

Lasagnas meatballs amd sauce perfect. Paparadellie Bolognase didn't have enough meat in sauce. No house dinner salad included was surprise. Dinner was good but not as outstanding as usually in past experiences. Lack of vegetable ie salad with meal is unfortunately a let down to me amd ahoukd benimckdued to cut through the rich meal.
