Got my order taken by a careless worker, she looked like a teen had glasses I didn’t see her name tag. But She got my order wrong and overcharged me I never asked for what she charged me for. I got “to go” so I got to my car and saw it was wrong. I went back& said it was wrong & asked if she could refund me there was excuses so I asked for a manager. She walked to the back and another teen came over to help me . He said they didn’t have a manager and couldn’t refund me, I asked why? He asked his coworker if he did refunds if he would get into trouble”. Then walked away when I was talking to him to take a drive thru order he was nice but I could tell he was struggling. I asked for the girl that took my order because if she took it wrong why couldn't she issue the refund? But supposedly her she so happened to go take her break after I walked in and asked for help to correct my order. She knew what she did because she still kept whispering to her coworker on the way to the back. Very unprofessional and unfortunately very sad how things are being ran in the “ night shift”.
Order was places around 8:40pm I walked back in there @8:50pm. Hopefully if management cares they’ll retrain their staff.

Sat at the speaker for 3 min no response had 4 cars behind me now went to the front and told him I was there for 3min and no one said anything he said sorry. I said it cool can I just place my order and told me for sure can you just go around now there's six cars screw this place why couldn't you take my order on the dine in monitor that way it doesn't mess up your drive orders.

I used to go this del taco when i was a kid when my family would take a trip to the beach, always stopped here every time kinda like a routine habit. Hadn't been in over a decade until i took my daughter and wife after our first beach trip. Felt like i had too, for the sake of nostalgia. Perhaps my review is heavily favored in a positive memory but to me I like that it's a little crowded and a tiny little place, I love the food every time (My wife wasn't too thrilled but she's born and raised for Mexico so this is whitewashed to her (she says)) and the employees do their best and i think thats far better than expected for the area and its pace. Expect a line but it's fast and worth it.
The worst place in the world. Rude employee. If you can, choose another place to have a dinner

Came here to order some food. First, the drive through had about 3 cars and weren't moving. I went inside to place my order. The older lady at register seemed preoccupied with the slushy machine and I stood there waiting for a long time before she realized she worked there and customers were waiting for her to notice. Once I placed my order she stood there asking me how many sauces I wanted. All took a long time. I looked around and the inside was empty. Maybe an indication of where this Del Taco might be going.

Always double check your food from this location. Every second or third time I come in here something is always missing and never have. I once gotten any sort of discount code or free menu item because of their mess up. That is why I'm rating the service is oe star food is Hit or Miss sometimes depending on what you get and what time you get it at. I know the restaurant will probably never read this but I have tried getting somebody from the management to contact me a while back in regards to how they handle these sort of discrepancies and nobody responded. So this is the only way that hopefully I can help somebody else in the future because their upper management obviously doesn't care to reach out to their employees and let them know that they need to start checking food instead of just throwing everything in a bag and saying goodbye.
