We had mixed reviews about this location. Liked some of the food items but had issues with cashier.
Very busy, very loud and we were blessed with a very untrained cashier. Several items that we ordered were deleted off our ticket and had to enter the line and order a second time... It was busy but both cashiers noticed and recognized that we were in line again and neither asked if there was a problem. The electronic menu is a little difficult to read if you have vision problems. The restaurant is quite pretty for a counter service location. It is very loud and hard for you to communicate with the cashier. The barbacoa was delicious. The beef crunchy taco was delicious. The chili relleno was excellent. The asada was okay. We were not fans of the al pastor or the fried fish taco, the shrimp taco was received with mixed reviews. Sadly, the french fries were cold and tough and the refried beans a little bland. Both the green and red salsa were excellent
Will definitely give this place a second try, hopefully without any of the communication issues.

Come on guys do ya’ll know what a breakfast burrito is? Good flavor but it was basically aaall bacon and cheese…barely any egg or potato. 🤮 Super waste of money.
The cashier girl straight ignored me when I walked up to order (no line) as she took her time talking to people across the room. I never do reviews but it was just so awkward and uncomfortable to not be acknowledged when I’m trying to order.
I went back and asked them to remake it and it was pretty much the same. They left out a bit more bacon but still skimped on egg and potato which is supposed to fill in most of the tortilla as everyone knows. Really disappointed to be throwing out 10 bucks + tip cause I just don’t have much.

I love this place. The best shrimp tacos I've ever had. My grandma is hella picky and loved these (RIP). The staff is great and the green salsa is where it's at. Even when I want to take out I ask for the tortillas separate and it's always delicious when I get home. Every time we have guest from outta town, this is a great spot to take them to.

Straight up!! If you don't eat here, you are missing out!!!!!! This was the first restaurant I had a chance to try after flying into Cali from CO. I couldn't have asked for it better plate of tacos, with the freshest ingredients!!! Do it!!!!!!!

By far the best Mexican food in HB. I say this as a personal chef who specializes in Mexican food. It’s hard for me to justify spending money on Mexican food because I know I can just make it better at home, but El Torazo always exceeds my expectations. I absolutely love their breakfast burritos and their El Mexicano carne asada burrito. The el Mexicano is so simplistic but full of flavor. Their carne asada isn’t a cheap cut of meat either. It doesn’t come out overly chewy and steamed in its own juices. I buy their green salsa by the pint at least once every two weeks. The service is great and always friendly. They even recognize my phone number when it pops up. My daughters look forward to seeing the woman who opens every morning when we’re picking up breakfast. Literally only good things to say about this place. Not once have we ever had a negative experience!

We've been coming to this place for a little while already. It is good food, except that some things are a little bit oiloly and greasy. The Stake, chiken, and pork,ect.. Already have their own oils. You don't need to put more oli on them just to cook them faster. The rolled tatitos were very greasy and gard.but other than that, mexican tacos are great! Specially on Tuesdays and Fridays special.
