Nice place to visit, hang out, and take picture. Especially if people like to visit German and Dutch. Feels like you go back there. I love this place. Will visit again another time. I suggest to come early.

I have been coming here for at least 10 years now. Although I haven't been in a couple of years, especially with Covid, let me see the changes they have made a drastic and matter! Staff used to be semi-cold, and not very accommodating, but something happened and it seems like everybody is happy to be at work. me and my fiancé were taken care of so wonderfully

She makes the best Apple Strudel and crumble cakes in the entire village, but you have to get there quick on Saturday before she runs out, she makes them by hand every Saturday Morning. I also get her German imported Tea for sleep and sinus problems all the time. I used to live in a cow town in Europe, and this little deli always reminds me of the vibe there. Sometimes she has homemade pretzels. She's the sweetest.

This is the small deli on the other side of the church from the giant store. The meat prices are great and the couple has been running it since the 80's. So cute and such great food. Give them a try!

No veal. Lovely lady in the store. A little high priced. But like helping the small German buisnesses

We love going to this German canteen whenever we come into town. It's super casual and jovial. Start with the pretzel with Bavarian cheese. It comes out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Their celery root soup is silky and smooth. The potato rösti is A+ with a golden brown exterior, served with sour cream and apple sauce on the side. My boyfriend likes the sausages there which come with mashed potatoes. Can get a bit noisy and crowded but all good!

Came to this place with the honey and was greeted by an old German lady selling homemade plum cakes. Since honey is German he talked to her and was given 2 huge slices of plum cake that she made. What a treat ! And what a sweet lady. Will come back and visit again.

This might be the only place in Orange County that sells German Springerle cookies at Christmas. (Even the large German market next to this small shop doesn't sell them.) These home-baked anise-flavored, embossed cookies are exactly what you find in the Christmas markets in Germany. Her stollen selection is also great. Visit this shop if you want personalized service and a good selection of hard-to-find German food.
