I was blown away - I had the best Spätzle ever, paired with a delicious German Riesling! The wait staff was amazing in every way. I enjoyed the creative look of the outdoor area with friends, then when we walked inside we saw an amazing Beatles cover band. Great experience!

The prices are out of control now. It's 7.00 for a piece of cake. The best bakery in Europe doesn't charge that. I can no longer afford this.

Visiting this market made my day so pleasant. I almost felt at home (where I’m from has strong German heritage). The aesthetics of the building exterior were gorgeous with statues of German people and nice German architecture. The grocery selection was magnificent, I liked the candies and wanted to try some other items but was short on cash. I would come here again and again and get one of everything if I could. 😆 I highly recommend this German Deli!

The German Rolls are now horrible! What happened? A lot of German candy does no longer have a price tag on it....a typical 'tourist trap' to impulse shop and I dislike it very much. The pastry is still great but now also way overpriced. Deli meat is great. Cashier 'accidentally ' charged me $10 too much. Go figure... I did get a refund but I had to show her on my receipt. Umm? I've known this place for 38 years now and it has changed a bit to the lower end. Not too much but the German Rolls for instance are a MUST DO GOOD and not a cheap copy by a 'foreign ' baker. I paid $4 for a Berliner.... $4. My goodness. I know, it's gotten more expensive everywhere but $1 for a German Roll that is now not what it used to be? $1 for a roll! I am just no longer very happy about this place.

This place is a hidden treasure. I saw a video on Instagram showing the princess cake and the cake flights. It looks so delicious and I was only 11 minutes away upon arriving and saying the names for parking spots. All in German was super cool. It’s a neat little village with a beer carton they have live music, clean bathrooms, and the German deli store is super cool. The people that work there are very helpful, very professional and knowledgeable of their product. All the cakes are made in house and absolutely delicious. We tried the princess cake, the mocha, and the German chocolate and the black forest fun fact German chocolate cake is not German. It’s named after a man named Mr. German we got some French butter and some sauerkraut. They have a lot of really awesome things. There are 10 out of 10. Recommend checking out this location spend a couple of hours and go through all the shops. You will not be disappointed.

I rarely give bad reviews because I understand that it is not easy to running business, but I was very unhappy today because I bought a bag of candy in the supermarket here. After paying, I opened it immediately and tried one. I found that the kernel inside was smelly. It was obviously expired and spoiled. I asked the cashier for a refund because the food was spoiled and could not be eaten. He told me that since it had been opened, the items would not be returned. I want to say, this is clearly spoiled food, why not refund? So, if you buy items, you must pay attention to whether such food is expired.

Way way overpriced. $4 for a pretzel that's not even that good? I miss Alpine Village.
