Gem right by PCH. Great pitstop for Acai bowls. Cute shack. Honestly this review is a bit outdated (10/23/2021), but I wanted to still write one to let people know how great of a gem this place was. It was honestly very hard to find and easy to miss. The parking lot is also not that huge so definitely either a walk up spot or a drop by and pick up spot. For the price the bowls were incredibly filling and substantial. Great thing to enjoy right after a tough workout or right before lounging on the beach. ..... ADMIRAL: 5/5 goji berries and bee pollen added the best texture crunch and flavor boost to this bowl

Not sure what has happened to FitBar. I come here usually every weekend but lately, it's been disappointing. I paid $9 for avocado toast. They later told me they didn't have ripe avocados so they gave me a waffle instead. It was awful. Hard on the outside and raw in the middle. I couldn't eat it. The smoothie I typically get (the açaí berry) doesn't taste the same. I've had to ask for no ice in my smoothie the last couple of times because I noticed they are adding that which makes the smoothie crunchy and watered down. I probably won't be back after my last experience. Seems like the training portion of the spot is more important than having extra space for employees to make food. Also, I agree with the previous post about having one person working on the weekend. Not only is it unfair to the employee but customers are waiting way too long. Last time I waited 20 minutes with only one order before mine. I want to support local spots but now I just feel like I'm wasting money and time. :(

I love this place. Great quality food, lovely workers, i eat here at least twice a week but i might not anymore. I'm leaving 3 stars because the owners really need to have more than one employee there on busy Saturday mornings. I waited for over half an hour this morning just to attempt to order. Instead i left and they missed out on a $30 order. The workers there do their best but they need better training or a quicker system and more help. They also ran out of blueberries. Almost everything they make requires blueberries, lol. The place is pricey and I didn't mind that but adding a long wait just ruined it for me :( You lost a loyal customer.

This place has grown on me. I've frequented here in the mornings before work and although I've had issues with their online ordering and getting my order on time- I must say: this place has the best açaí in all of OC. I grew up in HB and often going to banzai bowls but fit bar makes a wayyyy better açaí bowl! I love their admiral bowl which is an açaí base and topped with goji berries, mulberries, hemp seeds and more yummy healthy toppings. The creamy texture and bold flavor of açaí is so yummy. Prices are a bit high, but I can't help but keep coming back here!

There's no place to sit inside because of the gym, but coffee was good and service was very nice and friendly! Easy to walk to if you're visiting sunset beach.

Tasty smoothie, but I was underwhelmed by the service. I ordered a 16oz smoothie, which was $8, but got charged $9.50, the cost of a 20oz smoothie. When I asked the person working about this, she just said "I don't know I'm new here." I wish she had offered a better solution, such as giving me a 20oz smoothie since that what I paid for. Instead, she just gave me my 16oz smoothie and that was that. While I did enjoy the smoothie, I probably won't be back due to the way the staff handled this situation. Please charge your guests for the posted price!

Awesome snack, coffee, breakfast, workout spot. Staff is friendly, service is quick, food is good. Everything is very organic. Specialty coffees. Good acai bowls. Dairy free, gluten free options. The exercise area is good as well.

Good coffee. Right by Sunset beach. Outdoor seating.

In my quest to check out all the independent coffee shops in the greater Long Beach area, I decided to check out Fit Superfoods Coffee Bar in Sunset Beach. At the order window, there is a handwritten sign that says, "we do not have whole milk". It also lists alternative milks that they do carry...almond, oat, etc. I confirmed with the counter girl that they do not make whole milk lattes? She replied in the affirmative. I asked if they had half 'n half for plain coffee. Irritated, she answered no and suggested that maybe my friend and I should go to Starbucks down the street. We don't prefer corporate coffee shops, but we also don't prefer rude employees. We visited another independent shop close by and had a wonderful time! I would like to suggest that they advertise on the signage that they are a "dairy free" enterprise however.

Love this place and happy to see they have survived the pandemic although I do miss the lounge area, I respect the switch up so many small businesses had to do some sort of pivot to survive this past year. Love the acai bowls, the avocado toast, and kombucha on tap. Keep up the good work guys. Xo

2 stars only because the toast we had was mediocre. We came here on vacation, I was super excited for some of the items I had seen on their menu. When we arrived everything we wanted to order they were out of. Even pour over coffee. Like it's the simplest you can get with coffee?! They weren't making waffles. We ended up getting the Mexican mocha which sounded amazing. But tasted vile. It tasted like 3 day old coffee that got heated back up in a microwave. The pb&j toast was ok but pretty dry. I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. The cashier at the time honestly seemed like he could've cared less that we tried to order nearly half the menu and he had to say they weren't making it or were out of. Don't recommend

I have been a customer here since they opened. I loved it in the beginning! Great bowls, service, quality of food & the ambiance was so relaxing to enjoy your food & drink. Then came the next door gym which eliminated the relaxing/sitting area...okay I rolled with it & kept going into the very small inside ordering area & still appreciated the great bowls they continued to make. Well, this morning I go in & I'm told I have to order from a side door area that is part of the kitchen where they have a makeshift table, etc...I order the admiral bowl like I always get & I receive a small bowl with a ton of granola on top, mind you I paid $12 for this!! I ask where everything is that usually is in that bowl & the gal working there says that they're out of blueberries but everything else is in there. Why didn't she tell me that they were out of things instead of just handing it off to me hoping I wouldn't notice? Again, I paid $12 for a bowl of açaí & granola?!? So I ask her to put some other fruit on top & I get the same bowl back with a few strawberries on top! I just took it & left because I had to get to work. I will never go back there, I've been understanding & patient with all of the changes they've made in the past year or so but this was it...Blue Bowl & Jyn Bowl are far superior in quality, service, portions & definitely price!
