Terrible bar... Everything is sticky and filthy. Rude behavior from purple-haired barmaid who was too busy chatting with her friends and downing shots every 5 minutes BEHIND THE BAR! Paid cash, as I did not trust them with my card. Won't be back...

This was once a fine Irish family pub ..... but now it is just an ancient memory! Thanks for the memories.... I will miss her

Fantastic place!!!! Great selection of drinks, great food at great prices. The bartender, Lindsey, was fantastic. Live music by Rasta Fuego. What a great place to spend some time and make some friends. I will be back -- frequently. Thanks guys.

This venue hosts some of the best live music in town!

Absolutely great service and beer, unfortunately the bartender is consistently making jokes of autistic clients and other disabilities that clients have some in the past also laughing about it as well.. Not the best professional service but the drinks are well made. But not cool about the jokes.
I went here a while back to watch football and was pretty disappointed to say the least. The drinks were weak and it didn't have the football watching vibes at all. They played loud music that totally eclipsed the NFL Sunday atmosphere. Worst of all, they had one of the worst bathrooms I've ever been to. The smell was atrocious. I'd rather have used a porta potty.

I came to this Irish pub at midnight on a Sunday. I had two Angry Orchards for 6 bucks each and left a buck tip for each. They charged my card 7 bucks twice then a 16 buck charge for nothing I ordered. I made sure they closed the tab each order to avoid any funny business. This is either a gross mistake or an obvious grift from the bartender, sore that the night was so slow. The transaction didn't even show till 2 days later. I don't recommend going to bars that play so fast and loose with credit cards. Server was Yvonne Ag.

Gallagher's is the best bar in Downtown Huntington for several reasons. With few exceptions, it is one of the only places downtown that has a smoking patio that doesn't also have overpriced food and drink. I've made many a friend on the smoking patio, it's a fun place. Drink prices are very reasonable, their food is slightly above average for pub fare. Service is almost always wonderful; something I've noticed with most Irish pubs is they hire bartenders and servers that are charming or have the "Gift of the Gab", which applies here. They also have weekly comedy nights—which are better than you'd think—that have no cover charge or drink minimum, and consistently have bands play. With a lot of options in downtown Huntington to have a drink, I'd say this is overall the best one, and this is my hometown so I've had some time to bake this decision.
