Amazing food, taking a page out of Schlotzky's book with the warm bread and flavor. Service was a bit slow, that's why it's 4-stars. A similar shop (Moe's in Orange) can pull off equal flavor in 1/4 the time. That said, it's worth the wait - but be prepared to wait about 15 minutes post order. I'd definitely go back, but would order in advance. If you like Dutch crunch bread, this is your jam.

Delicious BIG sandwiches and super helpful staff. A bit pricey with sandwich, chips, and beverage.

My sister and I split the XL BLAST and it was excellent! The bacon was cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh. The Dutch crunch was the perfect amount of crisp without being too hard where it scraps your mouth. I will definitely be back.

This place is amazing. Traveling for work and stumbled upon it on yelp. Service was amazing, sandwiches are fresh, are enormous, and the atmosphere rocks. I tried the pastrami and was throughly impressed. Going back tomorrow!

Really nice sandwich shop, solid food. Swift service, very nice for a quick in and out bite. I will say prices are steep but that reflects the location and presumed demographic. It's interesting that the different sizes are based on added protein and toppings, rather lengthwise of the sandwich. I got the Santa Monica, solid sandwich, almost $20 for the XL is pretty wild to me, but there was a lot of pastrami. I decided to size up for the heck of it, but I think the excess pastrami made it more salty, throwing off the balance. This place is comparable to Ike's, but I would say Ike's sandwiches have a greater value proposition and are generally more well rounded.

Had to try the new sandwich shop in town. Got the Firebird because i like a little zing. DELICIOUS! That dutch crunch bread is fantastic! Someone greeted me immediately, and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

Firebird (Dutch crunch roll smeared with chipotle mayo, blast spread, pastrami, turkey, chipotle gouda and jalapeno pepperjack cheeses, lettuce, pickle, tomato, and white onion) - they use the Boar's Head brand so quality was satisfactory. Nothing to complain about, but nothing really stood out. This sandwich was a fatty size.

Came here with a coworker and was amazed. I had the phoenix and he had the howdy. We both loved the sandwiches. Owner came over and chatted us up. Gave us some samples of their mayo...the melrose mayo was outstanding. The restaurant is small and simple, very clean feeling. I will def be coming back. Great job

Super unique bread. Tastes great. Has some crunch and chewyness to it. They keep the sandwiches pretty loaded too. Really great. Price is a tad high.

This place is a must try! Awesome location and honestly there is not anything like this around. Super high quality sandwiches with tons of flavor. The best part is they are so nice! We will be returning ASAP!

Sandwiches are delicious here. My fav is the Santa Monica. It's not too dry or drenched in sauce. Perfect amount. A little pricey for one sandwich but it can almost be shared.

This is the best sandwich shop in HB. I was up in LA and got a sandwich and I was amazed and how good it was. Luckily, they had just opened their new HB location. The sandwiches are amazing and they don't mind if you modify. The only downfall is the location is tucked back, but it's worth finding a spot to park and getting the best sandwich in town. Highly recommended!

I'm going to be honest. I was a little skeptical when I heard that the owner of Ghost Pizza was rebranding to sandwiches. But in all honesty I'll probably eat any genre of food he ventures into. The veg out is a solid veggie sandwich with a lot of flavor. I am a big fan of the avocado spread. The Dutch crunch isn't as crunchy as others I've had, but I personally like how the bread is on the softer side. My boyfriend had the Melrose and absolutely demolished it. Ghost is a solid choice for a good sando, but I do find myself craving a Casper slice.
