My favorite cycling studio chain! I've been to most of their locations but this one might be my fav! Everywhere who works here is very friendly, and the energy that this class brings is unlike any other. If you haven't tried cycling and you love music, you have to try it!! It can be very difficult the first few sessions but once you get the hang of it it's such a rush. I love that this location has multiple shows. The saddle room is smaller than some of the other locations but I actually really enjoy that. They have great deals that they post often on Instagram. Well worth the money!

I usually frequent the Costa Mesa location, but I come to Jaclyn's 8:15AM class on Sundays and absolutely love it! This location has friendly staff, great parking (at least when I go), and they have multiple bathrooms with showers, so you won't be waiting long if you need to freshen up after. Jaclyn has become one of my favorite instructors; she plays GREAT music (her Valentine's weekend playlist was aaamazing), she's super friendly, and gives you a great workout. Thanks, Grit HB!

This studio has a great layout. I feel like I'm not going to accidentally sweat on the person next to me (or hit them with my elbow during a pushup). Carina's classes are my favorite at this location. There's a constant following of people who frequent her classes, so you can always count on a good vibe from everyone. Plus, Carina always has a crazy catchy playlist that makes you want to dance while working out (...she actually encourages it!)

I've tried many different indoor cycling facilities but let me tell you- GRITCYCLE TOPS IT!!! Grit not only has amazing staff and instructors but they offer so many packages and flash sales. I bounce between the LB location (Tony's classes) and the HB location (Carina's classes.) Carina is hands down the most energetic instructor at HB!! Her energy immediately shines the moment you walk into the Saddle Room. She's always smiling, making sure everybody is good before starting class, and her positivity throughout the 45 mins radiates throughout the room. Please TAKE HER CLASS, I RECOMMEND!!! Also, she's always down to take a picture with you after class- even if you or her are looking like sweaty messes. Lastly, shoutout to Bre Thomas- her energy is KILLER, she's so sweet and positive! When I took her class for the first time, she immediately walks up to me with a smile and says "i love you in the front." Now, that's super encouraging to hear!!

Hated my first cycle class cause it was SO HARD. But loved the instructor, Molly, her energy, and they way she motivated the class, so found myself buying any promo package I could. Great work out, excellent customer service all around, and really, take Molly's class. I go out of my way to make one of her classes over the others. She's amazing. You won't regret it.

Fun classes here! It gets pretty intense, but super fun and easy to follow along!

I am instructor visiting from the Central Valley and I took Bre's class and it was everything just the inspiration I needed. She has energy from out of this world and she knows how to keep the crowd engaged and going. Definitely a must of your in the area give Bre a try.

I was excited to see that GritCycle took over the last spin studio that used to be here! It's a gorgeous facility with plenty of parking. The interior looks pretty much the same as before except with lots of GritCycle branding. I noticed an excellent sale rack & plenty of fitness merchandise options during my first visit. In the spin room itself, it was a bit difficult to navigate in between the rows because of how close the bikes are to each other. The small hand weights are on wall racks hung next to the doors on both sides. I really didn't like that the mirrors don't extend wall to wall (I was on #37 in the back row & didn't get to see myself). Overall, it's a huge improvement from the previous owner/franchise but I definitely prefer the Costa Mesa location.

So in love with this studio and all the staff. Always so friendly and classes are amazing! I always leave a sweaty mess which is exactly what I go for! Its more like fun than a workout. Classes can be pricey but they offer specials quite often so grab them while you can for a discount!

I've been to other Grit Cycle locations and I've got to say this is one of my favorites. Parking is not difficult to find since they have a big parking lot. Also there's many showers I think maybe 4? The studio is very spacey and clean and they have all the amenities that you could need!

For someone who dislikes cardio, I thought GritCycle was extremely fun & motivating. I love that they offer one free class for first time riders through their website (shoe rental included). I went with two gfs on a Sunday morning (9:30am session) and the class was full. Our instructor Kelli was so upbeat and motivating. It was my first time taking a cycling class ever & I was so nervous. I love that you can go at your own pace, no one judges you, and the tension knob is controlled entirely up to you. The music and moves are easy to follow. For someone who is just getting back into fitness I must say the workout is intense, but the instructor, atmosphere, and lights make it really fun. It's not only a leg workout, they incorporate upper body as well. Don't forget to bring a water bottle & prepare to sweat! There are digital lockers to store your belongings & the facility is very clean.

I've been coming to grit cycle through classpass since they opened. Overall the facility is clean and well maintained. The instructors are fantastic. The reason I am giving two stars 1. If you show up right when class starts (for example class starts at 8am) you won't be allowed in the class. They shut the doors right at 8:00 for example so if you arrive at 8:00 and 1 second you are not allowed in. I think they should allow for a few minutes. 2. I forgot my water bottle so for the first time today I purchased water. I handed the lady my credit card to pay and she handed me my card back but no receipt. I get alerts on my phone so I saw I was charged twice. I inquired and was told oh that's for shoe rental. I explained that I've been coming for months and this is the first time I've heard about a shoe rental. She said oh because we didn't have a card on file. So this lady charges me without my permission or telling me about it which is shady. And secondly I've been doing spin at over a dozen studios for years and have never been charged to rent shoes. I'm not buying shoes since I do various classes so I guess this means I won't be coming back to Grit cycle! So disappointing!

My wife dragged me here but now I'm hooked. I went to a couple Soul cycles classes before but it never caught on. I like this studio because it's the newest one, there's 4 separate bathrooms with a shower in each. It's perfect for getting ready to go to work or out right after. They're stocked with towels, toiletries and even a blow dryer. Every instructor I go to is excellent. No complaints there. Highly recommend Gritcycle especially this studio.
