Ever since we discovered Hole Mole, everyone in my family love their tacos. When we are in the area, we will stop by for some tacos. Great for meal and/or snack. I in particular enjoy their shrimp and fish tacos. While my kids love their Al pastor taco.

I'm surprised the food was so damn good! I had a not so desirable experience at the Long Beach location before it became a BBQ place and never went back. This Beach Blvd location is clean and plenty of seating. Walk up service. They do bring your food to your table but everything else is self serve.

The carnitas are very bland, and the bowl was pretty boring. Nice that it wasn’t 90% rice, there was a solid serving of protein buy without a bunch of hot sauce it was pretty boring.

Tanya the cashier is very rude. Not friendly at all. She is not made for a restaurant environment. The normal employee are very welcoming and this girl does not make you feel like you want to dine in.

Ordered a shrimp cocktail and The girl running the register and taking the orders goes over to the side of the front counter and puts on gloves and proceeds to make the shrimp cocktail. I'm watching her make it and its almost complete. She stops, takes off her gloves, picks up a paper towel and begins to BLOW HER NOSE. SHE DOES NOT WASH HER HANDS OR PUT ON NEW GLOVES!! Instead she picks up a DIRTY knife and does not properly wash it, instead she grabs another paper towel and wipes it down. Then she picks up the avocado to start slicing it into my shrimp cocktail!! I have never been so disgusted!! I stopped her right there and told her just give me my money back. She was rude about it and only gave me a PARTIAL refund. I told her i wanted a manager as I was not accepting a partial refund. She said there is no manager and she finally gave me my full refund! ( I have two printed out refund receipts). I called the Costa Mesa Store asking for a phone number to a manger and they would not give me a phone number either. So I filed a complaint today with the Health Department. Bottom line - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!

I ordered the Surf and Turf Plate. 2 amazingly fresh delicous hot crunchy Fish Tacos, 2 Amazingly And delicious Brisket Tacos that pack a lot of Incredible Flavor!!! I’M NOT KIDDING!!!
Comes with rice, beans, and 2 seasoned Yellow Chiles ( Caution some are mild, medium, to hot!) they are really good though!!!
The price is very inexpensive in comparison to the high Quality of food that you are paying for. I paid $12.38 Total Tax Included and it was filling.
You won’t get quality food like this across the street at Del Taco ? or even Mc Donald’s.
Parking: Parking lot accommodates several businesses. I have never seen the parking even half full. Lots of parking available.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of wheelchair access

It's 8:45 PM on a Wednesday night 07/10/24.... I have to put this information because the two females there wouldn't give their first name when I told them I was going to make a review... haha like that was going to stop me right. NOT.
You know how sometimes you really like a place but all of a sudden service really really sucks because of the attitude of people SERVING.. Well this is what happened tonight ???
I come to this place often people come and go where they work, replaced fired Etc. You can't base the food of the place because the ($hit) SERVICE. BUT today the service was just embarrassing, awful, absurd, unprofessional & childish !!!! These 2 ladies girls just ran the place like if their own restaurant & didn't care how many customers they lost which was *really silly... why you ask >>> ?
You know how, you have to go to the bathroom sometimes before you sit down and eat, well that was my case... So I asked one of the girls for the key to the bathroom and she said are you picking up & I said I need the key to the bathroom so she did that 3 times ? And then she said it's for customers only & I said well I'm going to order after I come out of the bathroom she literally laughed in my face ? like if I was lying & was ignoring me, like the Queen of Sheba. I said I'm going to order when I come out of the bathroom. So she kind of ignores me and smirks like flipping her little hair and I say if I have to repeat that again I'll just leave. Obviously it was no bother to her to lose a customer that's no big deal to her she owns the restaurant right...? All of a sudden in front of the customers I'm finding myself explaining that I'm going to go to the bathroom first and then order and she's literally denying me to go to the bathroom first and forcing me to order ? I don't know, I'm not sure I didn't look homeless or like if I was lying I drive a newer BMW (paid OFF) So who cares I'm just a BAD person that's going to use the bathroom right & not going to order according to her mentality and the other lady's mentality girlfriend or whatever working their cash register. Then I thank hole mole for the embarrassing & awkward moment in front of people. BY denying me to go to the bathroom before I order, basically holding the bathroom hostage so I would order first ?? Yes I get it bathrooms are for customers only duh !!! BUT, in the very beginning of that 5 minute unprofessional exchange that was very uncomfortable. SHE wouldn't get through her head that I would order after I went to the bathroom. SHE turned around and ignored me, her other friend at the cash register was totally okay with it. THEY also didn't want to give me their names, because I said I was going to make a review. ANYWAY they made themselves LOOK -good as I said okay then I'll just leave. BY telling the customers after me how sorry they were for such a inconvenience to them, like if I was the one that was an embarrassment or I was some kind of vagrant or homeless person or going to abuse the premises ?? Anyway this is a simple fix > IT'S called *retraining, *Hospitality training, *Attitude adjustment, *Personality training. I think maybe the service would be a *little better with *these 2 females. BUT hey, I'm just a customer that studied psychology and I've helped a lot of people and saved a bunch of lives but who am I right ? Food For Thought to *MANAGEMENT !! Taco Tues here is legit- do not come here expecting bougie beach tacos. This place is exactly what i expected and was a great little spot to bring my toddlers.
