Can't beat the view nor the drinks and food. Perched right on PCH by the iconic pier, my daughter and I had a blast. We went for happy hour and had delicious margaritas and pomegranate salads.... those salads are excellent 👌 Margies, too. Our server was a doll... I called her the drink mermaid 😂 but truly, a beautiful young lady with a radiant personality providing excellence for our visit.
My daughter also ordered chips and salsa. Not sure about that since I try to keep my girly figure and skip such things, but the brussel sprouts were delicious.
Between the great food, drinks, service, and location - this is the place!
They're expanding more as well; a testament to the fact that they are doing it all right.
We will definitely be back... it's walking distance, too!

Pretty unfortunate that my wife and I drove 45 min and their posted hours were not accurate. We were turned away at 11am when they post being open at 930am Sat and Sun. We patronize this establishment and the food and service are typically consistently good. Tough to post this but it's accurate.

Great place to watch the March madness games, great views, the food is awesome and the customer service/staff was outstanding!! Highly recommend

The food was delicious and the songs were bangers! The smash burger was off the chain. The chicken fingers and fries were perf! Grandpa had the sausage and they were the best sausage ever. Thanks for having us!

With my girlfriend and my dog, I didn’t have a T-shirt because we forgot it in the car and they provided me with one so that we could still dine here, very nice establishment with very thoughtful employees. Thanks again Cooper!

My review from the traveling Azn perspective:

I regret stopping in at HQ Gastropub to watch the championship of hockey's 4 Nations Face-off. (China and Russia did not compete)
I was very displeased with these attributes of my HQ Gastropub experience:
>Consistently lagging stream during the championship (I wonder if the Super Bowl was like this here, too, if ownership is unwilling to upgrade their Internet plan)
>Slow service to get a fresh pour or to get the chit (Is this race-related?)
>Men's bathroom in disarray with flickering lights, no hand towels at the sink, toilet paper dispenser not set up properly
>No unisex bathroom

Great spot! Only stayed there for a little but I had fun! Servers were so sweet and helpful! :) drinks actually tasted good compared to other bars. I'll be back in the summer to catch the beach and ocean views. Since we visited in the winter and during the night so couldn't catch the view.

Parking: It's right off of PCH. Guessing parking will either be in the garage or have to find street parking.

Definitely my favorite burger place in HB. The staff has always been super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is casual, fun and chill. They have a great selection of food and drinks. The music is always great and I love the design of the place. But best of all, the ocean view!

Ok, here’s my review of HB Gastropub (Huntington Beach), and why they only get 1 stars. The ambiance is pretty cool. Love the rock theme. Rock videos on the projector and some TVs. The staff was really nice, until, I pointed out one mini thing, and then She got an attitude. I simply told her that I noticed all of the mixers were either coming out of a can or bottle. Then I noticed they had no soda guns. So, I asked her…why? She said because HQ stands for High-Quality! 😂. So, I said, they built this beautiful place, and couldn’t run soda lines above or underneath? Which is the best way to get fresh mixers, unless you’re juicing or squeezing them yourself, or opening a new can/bottle of soda for each drink. She then said, do you know how disgusting those hoses and nozzles get? I said yes! I’ve owned a few restaurants and bars. You have them service them weekly, and have employees like you, when it’s dead, clean each nozzle with a q-tip. I’d Much rather have you give me a vodka and SODA instead of a Vodka and flat soda as pictured. She then said, it’s the owner's choice. I said, no, he was cheap. Decided not to build it out, charges more to make up the difference for pouring out of flat cans and bottles, and then charges you 14 bucks for 2 small meatballs as an appetizer. What a funny joke. You guys need to work smarter and not harder and take out your building mistakes and lack of leadership to make your employ work a little more, on the consumer. Dumb owner. So as far as food goes? The food is actually decent. But not worth the overpricing because you’re compensating for the initial expense.

Server was not helpful and not very nice when I asked about my celiac disease gluten allergy. With little effort, he told me not to order anything with bread. Music was so loud I couldn’t hear the person in the booth with me. If you wanna hangout and drink I’m sure it’s a fine place but not a good place for dinner or anyone with an allergy

Their braised beef and poutine are some of the best I've had. Good prices, quick service and good beer. Atmosphere is "old MTV" music videos in the background and sports games.

Vegetarian options: Fish and seafood options are aplenty.

Dietary restrictions: Had enough choices for gluten free to be happy.

Wheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk level, very accessible.
