Looking for large portions? Your search ends here. If you are anything less than a sumo wrestler after long match, the mini meal should satisfy your hunger. But don’t hold back. Get the BBQ combo, do your best, and save the rest for tomorrow.
My family loves to go here on our cheat days and you can't go wrong with the family pack you get lots of bang for your buck and the dudes that work here super cool highly recommend checking this place out
REALLY GOOD DEFINITELY GOING BACK
Oh my goodness this place is wonderful! Delicious Hawaiian food, good price, and good portions! The staff were really nice too. I love the chicken katsu with mac salad and rice, and they also have fried chicken and boba tea.
The staff doesn’t come across as the friendliest but I’m not here to make friends anyways and the food was pretty good not my favorite Hawaiian spot but still good. Had the Huli beef mini meal the portions were generous.
I’ve been there ONCE. I’ll never go back. Employee working the counter gives everyone walking in dirty looks, or maybe just me? They definitely make you feel like they don’t want your business, so I obliged them.
Wow, I don't know if I was here on the wrong day or what!! But, definitely will never go back!! First off the person at the front counter had the personality of a limp noodle. You should always have the most service oriented, helpful and person with at least half of a personality up front!! The guy in the back preparing the food was scowling behind the dude up front ? The food came out quick...too quick!! So we got to the park we were going to eat at and I opened up the fried shrimp mini meal and saw one plump shrimp golden brown shrimp and 4 burnt dried up, rubbery things that mostly resembled "shrimp jerky"!!! Onto the beef "combo" that was only ONE type of grisly, greasy beef that was barely luke warm (the park was just down the street not far). There was so much gristle most of it was tossed along with the shrimp jerky!! The cleanliness if the joint was also sub-par and the only redeeming items were the macaroni salad which was just okay and the steamed cabbage which was cooked perfectly. They do give you large portions, but I am not sure what to do with the leftover mushy steamed rice. Might try to rinse some of the grease off the beef and see if I can make something else with it ?♀️ I will not recommend this place to anyone. I would be embarrassed to, unfortunately.
Good food, big plates. We had 2 teenage boys who couldn't even finish a plate they split. Nice crew, clean place too. Thanks Huli crew.
The biggest Hawaiian barbecue portions by far. Do not waste your money at any other Hawaiian barbecue joint. This is the one to go to. Thank me later.
Chicken cutlet (Katsu) was fantastic. The certainly do not skimp on portion size either. Staff was friendly and efficient.

The amount of food is a lot, but the teriyaki chicken and beef was not very good. No flavor in the Maya or the sauce.
Wow!!! Huge portions. Preferred the beef and chicken combo with steamed rice and macaroni salad (cabbage comes with it too, but substituted for more macaroni salad) and the container was so full, it didn't close. Beef had a nice flavor, not too salty. Chicken was moist and flavorful too. Seafood noodle soup had 10 shrimp in it and a decent amount of noodles. Place was not busy and was clean. Guy at counter took our order and prepped our food. Friendly service, don't like being asked for a tip though. Reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.
Loaded Hawaiian plates enough to share for 2! Mahi & chicken my favorite. The mahi is crispy & not dry.
Very much a L&Ls style Hawaiian BBQ, from someone who has been to Hawaii several times, the flavor is there. The food was great, two orders, a seafood platter and beef platter. The seafood was tasty and cooked properly, fish was tender, shrimp was good.I wish they would have advertised their Mac salad had tuna mixed into it, maybe if someone was vegetarian or something along the lines it would have been an issue. They also don't offer sides to buy, which would be a great way to make money! I wanted a side if the ribs but they didn't sell individually, but it would be a great way for a customer to try new parts of the menu.Overall a pretty good BBQ place with friendly staff.
Just tried this place and love it! Great Customer Service unless you're a snowflake looking for attention, I guess.
