I visited this place on Oct 4, 2025. It was my first time going to a bar, so I wasn’t unsure how would I blend in. Fortunately, the staff were very friendly and showed me in. I went to the bar where I sit down in one of the seats, maybe 3-5 ft from the door. I only ordered an ice cold sprite since it was around 3.19, and I can’t drink alcohol, so not a bad order. I didn't speak up before and was using notes to message because of the blasting music. I was even a bit nervous at first when I was there, but the female bartender was really nice to me and acknowledged me, even when I was quiet. I was willing to pay for the sprite drink, but was given the okay. I even made sure. I assume it would be a one-time thing because I was new to them at their establishment. Hurricanes Bar & Grill would be a good place to socialize every Saturday. I look forward to visiting the place in the future. Thank you.

P.S. I will give their food a chance one day. It looks promising.

My family and I wanted to go watch some Sunday football. We asked if one of the TV’s could be changed to watch our game. This place was not very packed when we asked. You would think it’s not a big deal. We were told the manager was “in a bad mood today” and were told no. As an owner of a business myself I’d definitely be looking for a better candidate in that leadership position. That’s not how a business should run and operate.

This is my favorite spot in Huntington Beach the night time here you can't beat, the dance floor is dope, bartenders are always cool and a good time, and DJ Impact is the best DJ on Saturday night you will find in all of HB. I come down to Huntington expressly to come here!

Food is also great if you go in the daytime and ambiance during the day is a very chill beach vibe.

I came in with a few people after seeing positive reviews online. I ordered the chicken tenders - the sweet crunch flavor - which was recommended by the server. When I got my food and bit in, THE CHICKEN WAS RAW.

Obviously, mistakes happen.. but my friends got food and they weren’t really that satisfied either. I’m thinking they have some kitchen staffing issues here, unfortunately..

Given how dated the place looks inside, you’d think the food would be AMAZING to draw in a decent crowd. It’s kind of Ehh quality bar food with a nice view if you’re on the patio.

Have your friends told you this is a cool place? Because that’s what I was told but the 4-5 times I’ve been here is always empty or full of dudes which is great if that’s your thing. It’s also smelly and a weird vibe.

P.s. management I lost my ring here with exposed gold and black diamond. Would love to have it back and might make me feel better about this place.

Reserved for a party of 20 on a Thursday night. There was supposed to be Latin Night according to their website and IG, but nothing about it was Latin… the DJ played 3 Latino songs after our request (very bad choices but Latino) and then kept playing whatever else. There was a guy playing the drums at the same time and he couldn’t follow the rhythm so it sounded weird… oh and the server was rude when taking an order so we had to go to the bar directly every time we wanted to get a drink…
