The sushi here is really good and reasonably priced. The few times ive come here its been pretty quiet, around 3-5. Not sure if it really gets going after that but you can come earlier if you dont like

I went in with high expectations and I got a drink before food. The server (Megan) was amazing but the owner came and shooed me off after I was asking her about the menu. He treated her so inappropriately it was so humiliating I actually closed out and left. The Better business bureau is my next review.

Super Stoked on this whole in the wall!!!! Food was incredibly fresh very tasty & presentation was on point!!! Menu was fantastic!!!! Lots of choices & very inexpensive The service was impeccableCan't wait to go back!!

Great local Japanese food place right in Huntington Beach. I had the Jason's Roll which is the Crunchy Roll with Spicy Tuna on top. And had a side of the Yuzu pepper chicken as well. Both very good and filling. Went on a Sunday night so it wasn't that crowded but Dani was very attentive to me and my family. Make sure you stop in if you're in the area.

I've cracked the code to a perfect Sunday: car wash at Russell Fischer followed by sushi at Ikeda. This small sushi joint serves up all your favorite signature rolls as well as a few specialty options. They even have a killer lunch deal that includes their famous bento boxes!I ordered the baked salmon roll and a side of garlic edamame. The salmon roll was absolute perfection. So tasty with the perfect amount of spicy mayo and eel sauce. The edamame was also a great starter that I'd highly recommend to kick off any meal. In the past I've also ordered a bento box from Ikeda for delivery. I personally love their chicken karaage and the piping hot gyoza!
A local spot that I had been meaning to try for a while. I was choosing between quite a few options on the menu, but ultimately decided to go for the Jason roll. Also split the gyoza with my boyfriend. Everything was pretty good! Definitely high quality seafood. Service was great as well. I'd definitely come back the next time I'm craving Japanese food.

Came here every once in awhile for years before Covid... now I work at the Starbucks next door and I have a hard time convincing myself not to come back every single day. Solid sushi at a solid price (especially if you come during the lunch specials). Awesome service from Megan and Ava whenever I come in and no matter how busy. They take great care of me.... And know my order by heart now It's causal but intimate vibes inside the shop, and always clean.

The energy upon entering the space and taking our seats is light and blissful. The moment we were seated, the calm & pleasurable energy upon entering was hardly disturbed when we were greeted & seated by our server. Megan was a delight & her energy & service were what truly made the experience one of our top 10.The exquisite blend of the cleansed light energy, the ambiance, & the beautifully plated & delicious food & beverages was breathtaking. All of the above paired with getting to meet and experience sweet Megan who gave us the best service we have experienced in 10 years. We are most certainly going to be regulars, and I am so grateful that we found it and chose to go to dinner and got the opportunity to have such a wonderful blissful experience that we get to return to for the rest of our lives.

This review is strickly regarding the lunch offerings which gave incredible value for great price. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken+karaage combo. Guaranteed to fill you up, with plenty of vegetables and a bowl of hot and delicious miso soup to caption your lunch. Service is excellent as expected from a Japanese place. Decent looking restaurant, albeit a bit small.
