One of my favorite sushi to go to! Quality of fish and prices are unbeatable. The place gets quite busy so I recommend be there at least half hour before they open for dinner. Staff are friendly. Love Vincent one of the sushi chefs. I come here at least once or twice a month.

I have been coming to this place for over 15 years. This place is always busy, and that's for a reason that the food is amazing. Fresh sushi caught daily. The staff are great and the service is wonderful. I feel like lunch is a bit easier to get in rather than dinner.

We started with the Scallop and Tuna Specials, which were so flavorful they didn't even need soy sauce. The green mussel was a delight, and the "Vincent Handroll" was an absolute favorite.Don't miss out on the Ghost Roll – it's a flavor explosion! The staff is friendly, the ambiance cozy, and every dish we tried was a hit. If you're craving authentic, delicious sushi, Irassae is the place to go. Can't wait to return and try more off-the-menu specials!

IT'S TOO GOOD AND I DON'T WANT IT TO GET SO POPULAR I CAN'T GO THERE! LOL. Ok, all kidding aside, this place is still as delicious as ever. Took my bride here for date night last night. Fresh blue fin belly, amazing HB cut roll, Miso soup, the best seaweed salad, and the nicest people. Thank Vincent for taking such good care of us!Parking: There's a ton. Definitely more parking than needed. Your challenge will be finding a place to park your seat inside the restaurant, not your car.

Favorite sushi place. Never liked sushi before but after trying this, I save up to eat here again. My favorite is the next time roll. It is saucy but I personally like that. It will be busy, so expect to wait 30 minutes to get seated if you have a small party 2-4. I love sitting at the sushi bar as you get to watch them make your sushi to order. It's lit softly and there is some peace in the fast pasted environment.
The sushi is top notch. The owner and staff are the best! Plenty of seating and if you have to wait it's definitely worth it!

Hands down my favorite sushi spot in OC! I actually discovered this little sushi gem on TikTok and I had to give it a shot. I've been here now a couple of times and I am never disappointed. The fish quality is incredibly fresh! I highly recommend getting the halibut and salmon belly. The halibut is so tasty and they had a special sauce so no need to add soy sauce. As for the salmon belly... it melts in your mouth like butter. I also order their Next Time Roll, which is found on their secret menu. Each bite is a mouthful of flavors. It does have a chili oil, although I personally don't think it's too spicy. You can always ask the server to place it on the side. My two other favorite rolls are the HB roll (also secret menu) and Irassae roll. Overall, I love the casual and welcoming vibes at Irassae. They are always happy to explain which items are on their secret menu. They normally have a line outside when before they open, which is absolutely worth the wait.

Very good sushi and rolls!! Sashimi is very fresh and the cut is thick as I like it. Small restaurant but service is awesome and fast. Wait can be long during weekend and dinner time. Price is very affordable. Will come back!
