Jack's Beach Concession and Bike Rentals

I would strongly caution anyone before renting here. They require you to leave your driver’s license to rent a bike, and claimed they can't find my wife's DL. This is a major concern, since a DL is sensitive personal information.

On top of that, they do not answer their phone. I had to drive back in person just to speak with someone, only to find a group of young staff who showed little concern for the situation.

This isn’t just poor customer service, it’s a serious consumer protection issue. Under California law, businesses are required to safeguard customers’ personal information (PII). Losing a driver’s license is a violation of those obligations and may carry financial penalties.

If they won’t answer their phones, we'll see if they answer hand-delivered documents.

I’ve been coming to Jack’s for 40 years. It has really gone downhill. Unless you want strips and cheese I would go to a different snack stand. Bad service. Last week they were out of ice cream. This week they were out of ice at 1:00 and couldn’t make a shaved ice. Our pretzel was served frozen. The corndogs are frozen from a box. The kids behind the counter could care less about customer service.

Cheese strips are a must!!! Here or at Dwights!!! BEEN GETTING THESE SINCE I WAS A KID!!!

Had a great experience here, staff were all super friendly and helpful. Easy to rent a boogie board for a couple hours. Delish fries and best iced tea. Do they even need Google reviews?! I feel like if you know about this place you love it. Period.

Burgers are good!

Great stop for a quick bite without having to leave the beach. A burger sounded great, but I’m always so apprehensive when ordering from places I haven’t been. They can be the worst. I decided to go for it as well as ordering some chicken strips and fries. We also ordered a fountain drink and a root beer float. Service was good and of course other on the beach so vibe is always pretty chill. Downside was the root beer float prices are nuts. My daughter bought her own and was charged $7 for a small drink size. When I walked up a bit later and ordered ours with food they charged the same price but we got a very large cup. The large worth the price but my daughter didn’t come back to talk to them about it. No pics; sorry we were starving. The burger was delicious and the char taste fantastic!

They only had 2 e-Bikes left that were rented for half a day, and the battery on one only lasted a little while. We've been going there for the past year and have had good luck, but not this time. We'll be looking for a new place to rent e-Bikes.

Very good cheese burger for $8.50. Have 8 large outdoor tables with umbrellas. Right on beach bike and walking path with pay parking a few feet away. Open in winter. Maybe a 1/2 mile from Huntington Beach pier.

Great place but the food is mediocre

I love their ice cream. It’s very big and taste.
