Ruby's was at the pier location for many years, and I took my daughters there frequently as they grew up. They always began with a shake, then burgers with fries. We always enjoyed the view of the water. It was a fun place to eat.

So sad to hear they shut their doors on 2/26/21

Disappointed. Not a Tiki Bar but a lounge to eat.Just an upstairs place to eat off Ruby's munu.Decor was a little cool, thanks to the location. On the pier and the beach.

Basic American comfort food with bright and cheer service. Can’t go wrong with a Cob salad, club sandwich, and Strawberry milkshake. Lots of parking. TIP: Leave your car and dine first, then shop next at nearby Trader Joe's or Gelson's. Thanks for reading. would appreciate a thumbs up if you’ve found this helpful.

Back open for business! A little treat at the end of the pier. $9 cocktails is not bad with the view.

One of our favorite places to eat, great food, great service and awesome location. Grew up in HB and always look forward to a burger and shake when visiting.

I finally made it here last week with a friend. We were a little confused, because the server handed us Ruby's menus..but you can either get Ruby's food, or drinks and appetizers from Jan and Deans's Tiki Lounge. I miss Tiki Bars..it's a been a while for me..probably since Don the Beachcomber closed down. I don't make it out to Main St much these days, but a friend was in town, and wanted to venture over here, and I have been dying to come over here myself. The atmosphere was really cool and the view was nice..can't get any better than right on the water. Anyways, I found a tiki menu on another table, so I "borrowed" it, and we both got drinks. I went with the Dean's Dream which was kinda like a Blue Hawaii, and very tasty! For food, I went with a Ruby's burger and fries to be traditional, but next time, I'm definitely going to try the tiki food. We did both try the Dole Whips, which were very delicious. I kinda wish that they had a bigger menu for the tiki food though. They do serve the full Ruby's menu too though. I really like this place! I definitely wanna come back! It was a nice view over the water, and it was lovely to Main St again, because it had been a while for me.

Ruby's always has quality food and you get a great view at the same time! Some of the best shakes and malts around! I had the BLTA and it was delicious. As good as it gets for a BLT + avocado*. If you are hungry and want to take a nice walk down Huntington Beach pier it is a great idea!

Sitting on the end of the Huntington Beach Pier, this diner is so much fun. 1950’s style diner is friendly and so much more than your chain fast food store. I would definitely recommend a visit to everyone! Food was great and service was fast.

great atmosphere, with terrific food. Our service wasn't great, but the manager fixed that, Parking is a bit tough to find.

This is a chain of Burger/Breakfast restaurants fashioned to look like a 50's diner. We ate lunch at the Ruby's on Huntington Beach Pier. It was a great spot with ocean views from every vantage point. We ate upstairs in the Tiki Room which was Hawaiian themed. My daughter had a Reeses Milk Shake which was thick and delicious. My husband and I had burgers - they were juicy and came with crisp shoestring fries. My daughter's chicken fingers had a crispy and not greasy coating. Overall I'd rate the food, service, & cleanliness a solid "very good"

Experienced bad service, long wait time and offers advertised that were not honored! We will not be going here again.
