The first time I went here I would give it 5 stars. I went between lunch and dinner so it was quiet and calm. The food and service was amazing. The fooooodddd yum yum yum. However in my later visits the food has not been so amazing. Still good but not super super delicious.
If you go when it's busy, it can be chaotic in there. But it's cuz it's a small place and it's popular.
The staff is always friendly and attentive though.

My girlfriend and I love this spot. Every time we come here we leave talking about how amazing it was. We always get the string beans, spicy pork wantons, and Dan Dan noodles. All of which are amazing! Highly recommend

1. Xiao long bao or steamed dumplings are decent. Not going to knock Ding Tai Fung or Long Xing Ji off the map, but their taste is ok.
Most likely because I didn't get a great reading off today's order because it came almost lukewarm. Not even as hot as a hot Starbucks coffee, which everyone knows isn't even steaming hot like Long Xing Ji's dumplings that are fresh out of the steamer. So halfway through eating them, the remaining were cold, unsatisfying.
2. Chinese pancakes are thin, unlike fatter ones from Peking Restaurant or AJ. Up to you which style.
My first bite's impression was that of a burnt pan, so that wasn't as enjoyable as the other two sources where it doesn't come with that taste. No salt on the table, so bland by itself imo. Their chili on the table was good in boosting its flavor.
3. Don't go to a dumpling restaurant for fried noodles. It's got spinach, soy(?) beans, chicken for the vegi+ chicken order. Foodservice chicken, bland sauce, forgettable.

Overall, target market seems to be those that don't want food that's too salty, overly flavored, etc. So what you get is edible, filling, but imo, not exciting. Which is probably good for nearby workers who don't want to feel blah after a too salty, too geasy meal.

Compared to other dumpling/xiao long bao restaurants in the LA/OC area, there's better, imo.

As for service, non-attentive after they've dropped off your plates. You gotta call them over because they're focused on to-go orders, take-outs, etc. rather than on attending the the basics. So more like a fast food joint.

Walked in hungry, left happy. This is what happened when we stumbled upon Juicy Dumpling Factory in Huntington Beach. Always in the hunt for good places to eat and they did not disappoint. From the cleanliness of the place, the food (of course), and equally important is their excellent service. All of their staff who helped us were all very friendly and very respectful.
I was curious about their dumpling so we ordered a pork dumpling, classic chow mein with shrimp, and my all time favorite stir fried green beans with garlic. All dishes tasted great.
We definitely enjoyed our time dining here, so we will definitely come and visit again.

Not much of a dumpling guy, but the place was highly rated so we have it a try. The spicy wontons and the BBQ pork buns were very good. If you like dumplings, this is probably with a try.

I’m a foodie and this was no disappointment. We ordered Dan Dan noodles, Orange Chicken, Juicy Pork Dumplings, and broccoli beef. All were so tasty and so incredibly fresh; one of the best new additions in Huntington Beach period. Normally I’m hesitant to order orange chicken because it always seems to be a disappointment but this Orange chicken was actually the best I’ve ever had.
Next time I will definitely be ordering chili beef, green beans and pan fried dumplings as they looked amazing. If this place continues to stay consistent with quality and freshness, it will be non-stop busy.
Not the most amazing atmosphere. It’s somewhat cold feeling and doesn’t have a stylish vibe like din tai fung but the food is worth the visit.
