This is my second time going to this location and being told it's a 25-minute wait for an order. I've been a patron of this location for many years and I have noticed in the recent year that the level of service has gone down significantly. The restaurant does not look like it's been maintained in a while and the front doors always seem to slam. In the past, I have enjoyed good KFC meals, but each time I've come recently I can't seem to get a reasonable, wait time on an order. Because of this, I decided to go to their competitor Popeye's on Beach today. Sadly, I have to travel out of my way instead of utilizing this location which is within walking distance of my place.

Today was the second time I have super cold fries. They are so cold. I did call and talked to the manager to let them know they need to make the fries when ordered. I was told they do, and they did not understand. This is the only KFC that I had this problem with.

This is one of the best Kentucky fried chickens ever everyone that works there is so nice they always have things ready quickly and the service has been great every time I have walked in there or ordered for delivery or pick up keep up the good work.

Gave me cole slaw when I ordered Mac and cheese! Who on earth mixes those things up? Someone must have been really having a bad day or wanted to make someone else's day miserable. Well it worked, because when I came home and was ready to dig into my chicken bucket with a large side, to my dismay I pulled out a large side of COLE SLAW. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Words can't describe my sadness and anger as I was looking forward to nothing but my chicken and Mac and cheese all day. This is a friendly reminder to everyone to always check your food before leaving the restaurant because you could end up going home and getting all excited for what turns out to be cold disgusting COLE SLAW.

I’ve honestly been more of a Popeyes fan than KFC until this store opened. I’ve been here 10 times since it opened this year and every single experience has been top notch!!! $10 for 8 pieces of chicken??? How do you even beat that with today’s recession prices?? I order online, parking is never an issue, my order is sitting there waiting for me when I get there, they give me loads of sauces, I have to give some back, the chicken is piping hot off the fryer, and the employees are always sooo friendly and nice (shout out to GASPAR!!!!). I’m now a fan of KFC but only at this location. I won’t go to any other location.
I just had the worst customer service experience ever!! After ordering food I went to the bathroom to wash my hands , then was abruptly startled by a pounding on the door and yelling to get out and that I could not be in there by the manager named Gabriel. I was super surprised by the aggressive tone and behavior. I did not know they were in the middle of cleaning the bathroom. There were no signs or indications of that. My boyfriend confronted the manager GABRIEL about what had happened and he got super defensive, sarcastic and just plain RUDE. We couldn't believe what had just happened. It was super weird to see a grown man handle a misunderstanding so immaturely.

The one star is for the employee at the cash register. Staff is always friendly and very welcoming. Zero stars for food. Horrible! I purchased a 12 piece meal combo, all extra crispy. I got 9 extra crispy (some missing parts of the 'crispy') and 3 original pieces. All the chicken was old and dry. I did not purchase drinks as they had no ice available. Certainly not worth the $42 I spent on my order. I tried to contact the manager to discuss my experience but when I called the first time no one anwsered the phone. When I tried again someone picked up and then immediately hung up! Originally, I was excited when I found this location so close to home but now I'll just make the trip and drive to the KFC on Brookhurst. Great staff at the Fountain Valley location and the food is always fresh there.
