Celebrated an anniversary dinner here. The food selections even for having a special Valentine's Day menu still had significant amount of selections. The sedared scallops was amazing! We shared the grazing plate which was just perfect however you must try the apple alchemy for dessert amazing!
For the love of god, eat the carrot cake. It is the main reason we keep coming back to the hotel Lorea is housed in, Pasea. I fly to this place for weekend trips specifically to have this carrot cake. It has ruined me for all others.
This place has a gorgeous view and a great brunch menu. My favorite was the brunch tower. The mortadella sausage was amazing, and so was the fig scone. The drinks were great as well. Overall, a great experience
Booked a Valentine's Day dinner at the Lorea for 6:30pm, arrived at 6:20pm, even with visible open tables were asked to wait till our 6:30pm booking time. Ordered drinks and appetizers to start, no issues. Ordered main courses and sides, mains arrived but no sides. The sides finally after we were done with our main courses. The server apologized and said would remove from the check. Overall not the best service.
A few things hold this place back from being phenomenal. Firstly, when waiting for amour reservation table, we weren't allowed to order a cocktail at the bar, it was reserved for hotel guest only. I could understand if it was super busy, but there was only 4 couples sitting at the big bar. Secondly, sitting outside was nice, however the light situation was pretty bad we here we were sitting, super hard to see the menu and my wife. Lastly, the food flavor was great; however, the food was luke warm at best. The lobster Mac and cheese had melted cheese, but not melty if you catch my drift. The steak and potatoes were also luke warm which is pleasantly disappointing. The staff was great, timely, warm, and professional.
The server, Kelcey was terrific. She was knowledgeable and friendly. Not sure why the music was turned up so loudly as the restaurant was not terribly busy. Food was high quality and tasty.
Went for my wife birthday with the family--9 of us + some kids. It was great, good food, great atmosphere. We all loved it.
The Ambiance is amazing. We loved the experience. Jonathan was a fantastic server. The food was good, but would like to try a non-thanksgiving menu as well. We lost my dad this year, so this was a new experience for all of us. My mom loved everything, so that made me very happy.
Cameron (waiter) was great. Nice view from the patio dining area. Food was very tasty, unique, and well presented.

Amazing restaurant with an amazing view and staff. Our food came out slow but I didn't notice and they comped our drinks without us even saying anything. Great service, will definitely be back.
This is a nicely decorated restaurant with a fantastic beach location. However, our brunch meals were really bad. All of us who ordered any poached eggs found them under cooked and cold. All the dishes lacked seasoning and it's obvious nothing was prepared with love. Thus, we felt the meals were over priced for the quality. We give a big thumbs up to the waitress and manager who quickly addressed our issues and replaced the dishes, removed items from our bill and brought us some macaroons. They couldn't be nicer. Overall, the restaurant was underwhelming and a big disappointment for birthday celebrations.
Really great menu!! Beautiful restaurant and the food was amazing, appetizers and sushi presentation is beautiful.
We arrived 10 minutes after they opened on Sunday morning. The place was nearly empty but Sophie, the rude & Unfriendly hostess, made us wait +40 minutes before seating us. Waitress, named Grace, was sweet but unattentive. Had to hunt her down +30 minutes later to get our food served to us cold. Terrible experience, will not be going there ever again. Only reason for 2 stars in the location, but there are many other great restaurants in Huntington Beach.
