Horrible service out. Waitress never came and checked on us or even offered refills. The hostess was so rude to us as well. Heard so many good things about this place just to get let down. Definitely not worth the over $100 bill we paid to be treated so horribly.

So, I went to Mama’s. And let me tell you — it’s not a restaurant, it’s like being thrown onto your aunt’s couch where she cooks enough food to keep you full for a week.
Portions? Massive. Like, you could totally share one dish for two (but obviously I ordered everything at once, because self-control is for yoga, not brunch). Chicken & waffles? Straight-up addictive. The French toast with cereal? Childhood trauma for sweet tooths, but in the best possible way.
The vibe? Everyone actually looks like they know each other. None of those inflated faces you see at trendy cafés, just normal people who came to eat and vibe.
Mama’s is basically the spot where you either roll on the floor from happiness or regret wearing jeans instead of sweatpants.
Come here starving and mad — leave full, soft, and happy. Period.

Breakfast/brunch at mama's is a must. Definitely favorite. Clean beer on tap, good coffee, solid meals and they will customize.
They have vegetarian options, meat eater options, sweet, spicey, and everything in between.
The staff is awesome and friendly and they work very very hard. So treat them kindly.
After they have Thriftys Ice Cream with the beat flavor ever created in the history of man kind- Chocolate Maulted Crunch!!!

Mama’s is my go-to brunch spot near me. It’s often busy but the location is very large and they have a ton of seating. I strongly recommend their Bloody Mary, which comes with a shot of beer on the side. I also typically get coffee on the side and they will give you a cup to go if you ask for it.
I’ve tried a few of their brunch entrees: chilaquiles, bikini backyard scramble, chorizo scramble, Jackie’s scramble, eggs Benedict. My favorites are the chorizo scramble, bikini backyard scramble, and eggs Benedict but they are all great. Their fried potatoes on the side are delicious and so is the bacon muffin that it comes with.
One thing to note, the portions are VERY large. I really recommend eating half there and saving half for later. I typically save it for breakfast the next day. Also, it is not cheap— typically about $20-$25 an entree plus drinks. However, if you split the entree across two days (or share it with someone) it’s really not that bad
They are also open for lunch and dinner and have various specials throughout the week, I’ve been meaning to try those as well, but Mama’s was voted best brunch restaurant in HB for a reason!
