I have an allergy and previously when dining at the same location under Puesto, the kitchen flagged which proteins I couldn't have due to marinades containing the allergen. So we flagged it again for the staff. The waitress was very attentive and kept us updated that they were checking with the chef who wasn't working that day. My friend and I had ordered guacamole and two rounds of chips so we hadn't noticed how long it had taken. So when we got our meal the manager came out to apologize for the delay and comp the meal. Great service and communication. I appreciated that they did take the time and due diligence to make sure I could get food that wouldn't require an epi pen.

Attractive, showy place. Good selection of spirits, innovative food, great service.

Decor is a 5 star. Beautiful curb appeal with stunning bar and seating areas for instagram. Food is terrible, salty and cold. They didn't have a few menu items which is odd bc they have a smaller menu. Service was average. Coffee was bitter and it's called a Oaxaca coffee which it is absolutely not. Drinks were either super salty, super sweet or bland. Overpriced and underwhelming.

fantastic table service, great food. Very nice hostesses at the front. Snotty hostesses ruin a meal when you walk into a restaurant and every time I've come here, they've always been welcoming and friendly, which I appreciate.

This was our first visit to Marila's Mexican Restaurant and we were amazed. The interior was beautiful. The patio area was very nice as well. Tremendous service. Our meals were incredible. Very fair prices. I highly recommend you try Marila's.

Have been wanting to come here for a while, but it used to be a long wait and very crowded. Finally had a chance but it has been a while... It was a Monday after SuperBowl so maybe thats why, but it was extremely quiet!! The drinks that we ordered were a little bizarre... hopefully they read this!! So I ordered a Huntington Beach Iced tea and it came in a ceramic seashell?? What am I supposed to do with this, I thought?? I could only think of Gordon Ramseys shows and how he would look at this with complete, critical befuddlement!! My girls drink was a mango margarita... the salt was relegated to a small area on the side of the glass... she was thinking of a "Friends" episode as she contemplated licking the glass from the base to the top... pretty odd to say the least!! Give it an "A" for creative effort, but very impractical and does not serve the function of the concoction!! Otherwise the food was okay, however the ambiance was not worth the effort. I can say that I checked it off the bucket list without great impression

Marillas by Puesto is the trifecta!! The food, service, and ambience are amazing!! Obviously their tacos are amazing...the tamarind shrimp and mushroom/cheese are my favorites, but my favorite item on the menu are the potato taquitos!! More chili oil, please! The service is so stellar, and Kennedy is always such a pleasure when she takes care of us. The inside is really modern and it kind of makes you forget you are in Bella Terra! Love eating here!!!

It's a very nice place to eat or celebrate a special event. The value is ok. The food is tasty, although portions are small (probably the way we SHOULD eat). Service is great. I would go back and try other menu items.

Service was lacking. This was my second time visiting. My first visit was exemplary. Service was great, food was good. This time around our server took our order and then we didn't see him again. Other staff members brought our food and the front hostess stepped in with water refills but we ended up having to even flag her down and waited 20 min to get out bill.

Great Lou cool restaurant has great potential but the ambience sucks. It's like eating in a library with bright lights. They have a lot of potential if they raise the music and lower the lights they could get them more of a Javier type vibe.

Overall, you can't find much to fault the place. Great ambiance, wonderful staff, and delicious food. When I got the bill it was a bit steep, but only in certain items. You can get an entree that is fantastic and a very reasonable price. Their margaritas and cocktails, also very reasonable. The guacamole and sides are a bit overpriced for what you get. But that VERY small tid bit aside, you need to go here. Songs of glory could be written about their salsa. Try not to drink a whole bowl when they bring it out. And their Puesto Perfect Margarita is nothing short of perfection. Everything that hit the table was amazing. James, our server, was an absolute delight. He was so fun, made so many good recommendations, and just kept the whole evening relaxed and flowing perfectly. But there is one thing that I must note, and that is the overall class of the place. I showed up right at our reservation. It was not busy yet, and the hostess was more than happy to adjust our reservation from the original four to a party of five without even a question. She also was more than happy to let me hang out at the bar to wait for the rest of my party with a smile. The bartender happily transferred my tab to my table without issue. The staff was AMAZING. I wish I knew everyone's name, and they're the reason this place makes it worth recommending. Go here, have a great time, and enjoy a relaxing night. Even if you pay a bit too much for the guacamole and esquite (yup, took me two tries to pronounce it right), you won't be disappointed. The food is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the ambiance is relaxed and happy. I rarely have such a great experience going out to eat.

We originally set the reservation for 4, but due to other circumstances the wives couldn't make it so the two of us ate at the bar. Food and drinks were outstanding. Unfortunately our first bartender was also the guy making drinks for the rest of the restaurant so service started off just fair. Buy when his female colleague took over, the experience was much better. This was my 15th or 20th time to the restaurant so we definitely like it. It was my buddy's first time and I could tell it was a big upgrade from his usual Mex restaurant.

This is probably THE PREMIER top end Tequila Bar-Restaurant in the LA Basin. The selection is UNBELIEVABLE. Then the food is NOT your typical Mex fair but a UNIQUE blend of spices with interesting touches, such as cactus. However, it would be nice to have more selection of dishes, with blendings of items for a visitor who wants to taste it ALL. Items were in twos with no splitting, so we ordered two red and two green enciladas. Then switched one each to be able to taste both. And at $8 for a side of rice and beans, it was not sufficent for the dish. So plan on spending some dollars.

Well as a Mexican born native I can tell you this is far from being Mexican food. The rice and beans were the worst of all. No flavor and very very bland. I have never tasted rice and beans which had no flavor or seasoning. It took forever to get our food when the place was not packed. Will not go back. Definitely not a place to give a second shot. Sorry ?
