First, I won't be back because they are now charging credit card fees. Too many other better restaurants that don't do that. Food is hit and miss - some is good (not great), some is bad - poor quality and/or poorly cooked. Service has been okay with issues each visit.

This was a nice relaxing dinner with family. Our server was great, refilled our waters several times. I had halibut and it was cooked well and seemed fresh. The rest had fish and chips. The cod also seemed fresh and the batter was good, crisp and not mushy on the inside. The fries were crispy and tasty. Great ranch! The coconut shrimp were tasty but skinny. The down side was the sides. The cole slaw was bland and watery. The cheesy potatoes tasted like they were instant potatoes. I would not expect instant potatoes to be served in a restaurant. The rice pilaf was fine, rice cooked through and not soggy.

Update: Still 5 stars (more if possible), and another fun and delicious dining experience. This time, we had Aaron as a server... he was amazing while he managed a full floor of patrons who love the happy hour -- best in town! With choices on the menu that are delicious and some are not fried after all. I still kept with their seafood salad off the main menu. Perfect again.
My son ordered happy hour menu selections; mussels and frtes, crab and shrimp delights (chimichangas?), and our awesome server, Aaron, brought Alex a butter cream, ice cream, strawberry tower of goodness, along with that hot sourdough bread and butter.
I posted more pictures... honestly, I think this is the BEST Happy Hour and casual seafood restaurant with amazing service... in the land! Over there on Brookhurst and Adam's.
Still recommend!
Original review:
Stopped in for an early dinner and discovered their Happy Hour, which my son enjoyed... coconut shrimp, scallop sashimi, and a massive birthday dessert.
The Happy Hour menu had some nice variety, but unfortunately, mostly fried goodies. I stayed with the main menu and loved my seafood salad along with a nice Rose. The sourdough was piping hot and the best I've had in some time. I try not to eat carbs, but this was irresistible. Everything was fresh and delicious.
We had fun there; casual atmosphere, excellent service (shout out to Mason!), and the crowd seemed to enjoy as well.
Highly recommend for a casual outting for fresh seafood-- and for me, an alternative to raw fish with my sushi appetite to feed my gullet!

Enjoyed meal but was extremely disappointed that they added a surprise fee for credit cards on bill without any notice. Have been going there for several years but this will be my last time

I never review places. I’ve worked in restaurants and bars my whole life. I feel inclined because I can not actually believe how bad it was. Massive and slimy oysters with battery/ metallic: penny taste. Fish tacos with zero flavor only bailed out by the tiny ramekin of salsa. Dry halibut with mushy asparagus. Margarita packed with pulp and couldnt drink through a straw. I feel bad writing this but honestly needed to help someone else not have the experience I did.

We have been here before a few times and have been pleased. Mom was her and had a combo dish of Scallops with bacon and a petite filet. She said the Scallops we cooked well, but the Steak was not Medium rare as ordered, but was more Medium. The red expectation was much pinker, so the meat was not so juicy. My wife and I had the Seafood Harvest pasta mixed seafood with white wine Marinara. The Seafood seemed half fresh and 1/2 not fresh seafood. Most of it was cooked too long, so the seafood like shrimp, bay scallops, and Calamari, were tough, making it not enjoyable. The pasta and sauce were cooked to perfection.
Had wonderful birthday dinner at Market Broiler. Our server (I think her name was Rhea) was outstanding. She understood and knew the menu so could answer any of our questions. She was attentive, very professional and friendly. Food (as usual) was outstanding. I had the Miso Salmon and it was very tasty and presented beautifully. Others at table had shrimp, scallops, etc. and all agreed food was excellent. We had dessert as well. Birthday boy had a Sunday which was passed around and quickly eaten. We also had the wonderful Butter Cake. This cake is the BEST. Good job Market Broiler. Never a let down.
Food was great and service was excellent. Disappointed that you don't serve Truly on tap anymore
