We ordered Lamb Saag and Chicken Vindaloo.
Generally Chicken Vindaloo was suppose to be garlicy Spicy with only chicken and curry.
They literally add potatoes to it.
When we asked the owner why is it like that, he was very rude and said this is his own receipe, Chicken Vindaloo is a dish with semi thick gravy with chicken and curry made from onion and little tomato base without potatoes.
Also the attitude was way harsh that people love him here and all
We are not here to love him, we were there to eat a good Indian food.
Someone needs to tell him that if he makes a new curry, don't name it something that already exists.
We did order Madras Chicken afterwards which was good along with Lamb saag which was really great.
In addition the Mango lassi was cherry on top, but overall the behavior and customer handling is very bad from the owner here.
And to be precise, the food was good, but not that good like 5 stars others are saying, it was merely between 3 and 4 star for food.

We ordered lots of food and it all came out delicious! Naan was fantastic. Nepali dumplings, butter chicken, okra were fresh with nuanced tastes. Chicken wings were a big surprise. Next time we'll get it spicier

Best Indian food I've had in OC. The service was absolutely great! Our server was extremely friendly and made us feel welcomed. The young man answered all our questions. It was our first time there and we can't wait to go back to try the entire menu. The food was DELICIOUS. So much flavor!! The venue was clean and really well decorated. They have beer on tap which is a huge plus! I am a huge carnivore but for those who are not they have plenty vegan options.

1. Cost Efficiency

One meal take out, multiple servings: $12 for one lunch order, stretched into four lunches → effectively $3 per lunch.

Shared portions: By splitting with my wife, we avoid over-ordering.

BYO item: Bringing your own cup for soup and tortillas at home, helps make the meal more filling without extra cost.

2. Nutrition & Variety

Soup as a base: Hydrating and filling.

Tortillas: Add carbs for energy.

Shared entrée: Balanced protein/veggie source depending on the dish.

You’re basically creating a “mini buffet” out of one order.

3. Practical Benefits

Less food waste: You eat everything instead of throwing away leftovers.

Time savings: No need to cook four separate lunches.

Portion control: Smaller, steady portions can be healthier than one big meal.

✅ Key Point: You’re turning one restaurant portion (often oversized in the U.S.) into several balanced meals. That’s economical, reduces waste, and still feels like a treat.

So with that is why we love this place

This post is long overdue. We ordered the chicken momo, chicken tikka masala, tandoori chicken, and garlic naan. I have to say, this is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had—seriously worthy of a Michelin star.

The chicken momo had soft wrappers with tender, juicy meat inside. The sauce that comes with it is a tangy, tomato-based dip that complements the dumplings perfectly.

The tandoori chicken is on another level. It was incredibly tender, packed with spices, and had a wonderful charred smokiness. When the marinade dripped onto the vegetables on the hot plate, it infused them with oil and spices, making every bite bursting with flavor.

The chicken tikka masala struck the perfect balance of tomato and cream, and paired beautifully with the warm, garlicky naan.

This place doesn’t miss.

All I can say is wow! I don't usually write reviews but this was a culinary masterpiece of a meal. Let's begin with the Nan. It was perfect from the fluffinesses to the sweet flavor. It was soft and chewy and delicious it simply melts in your mouth. As for the butter chicken curry it was also just delicious. I have tasted many curries from different places even in England! But this curry was everything I was looking for in a curry, it was perfectly spiced and the chicken just fell apart in your mouth! I had to pace my self not to just inhale the whole thing. Best take out meal of my life.

Great Indian food. Also had Nepalese food for the first time. Tried the momo appetizer (steamed chicken dumpling). It was excellent. I am going to order it everytime.

The goat curry and chicken tikka masala are excellent.

We came here last Saturday around 9:30 PM, close to closing time, but they still welcomed us warmly. The food was delicious—especially the yak chilly! And the Nepali beer Barasinghe was amazing. Great experience!

I honestly loved everything we had! And I’m super picky when it comes to Indian food—I usually don’t like most places. There was one spot I used to love, but it shut down years ago. We tried this restaurant yesterday and the food was incredible! I’m literally craving it now. The veggie noodles, veggie biryani, the spinach chicken pizza-style bread, the onion bread
 every single thing was delicious!

My only comment is about the A/C—it could’ve been a bit cooler inside, but I think the sun was hitting the restaurant directly, which probably made it feel warmer than usual.

The service was excellent—everything came out quickly, and the waitstaff were incredibly kind and friendly!
