Morena's Mexican cuisine

This place really disappointed me. The tacos were very disgusting. Sorry to use that harsh of a word but I couldn’t even eat the last one. Also they were expensive as heck!!! $20 for 3 street tacos!?? Crazy. Never coming here again.

We have no clue as to why this place has so many five stars. Cold, lifeless interior which echoes despite being fairly empty. The red salsa was bad (loved the green). The carnitas was okay, but very bland. In fact everything was bland. The chili relleno batter was mushy. A positive cheer to the staff as they were very attentive. Way too pricey for the overall experience.

i do not recommend this place honestly. The food isn’t the best, nor it dosent even have any flavor. Not just to think about the flavor but so expensive. I’m not the one to complain about prices but this restaurants is too much with high prices. I get it they are trying to keep it in business but no way a plate cost me more than 30 dollar. I asked for carne asada and they gave me a t-bone. I honestly wouldn’t come back because of the overall food and price.

I am from Western NY and this was some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time. I came with my boyfriend for supper after a fun day at Universal Studios Hollywood, and it was so good. The service is outstanding, and we even got a free appetizer since my boyfriend followed this restaurant for a long time and he impressed the owner. I 10/10 reccommend. My boyfriend and I will definitely make this one of our spots that we visit when we come to visit his parents near by.

P.S. In the picture below is the Chicken Quesdilla, which is absolutely delicious.

First time great food

We had a party and were outside and it was freezing, they did have heaters but we were left out there for long periods of time, especially for waiting on the check after our take out boxes were given to us. There was a horrible high pitched sound and we weren't sure where it was coming from, the heaters or maybe speakers?
Food was alright and have had better for better prices elsewhere. It was a bit bland in our opinion.
They have a blackberry margarita that they would muddle the blackberry and that is usually really good but this time we got something different, not sure if syrup or juice (we got it in pitchers)...it was overall disappointing and just alright. The Shirly Temple was also a bit off as it was heavy on the Grenadine. Waiter was also kinda touchy..I would describe it as tapping? your shoulder, not in a weird way but it was unnecessary as he had our attention when taking orders.

Hosted a lunch (40 people) for my Abuelita’s 90th birthday in their banquet room and it was perfect in every way! They were attentive and intentional, setting everything up and even making custom menus that said “happy birthday abuelita”. The food was delicious on top of everything else. We are so so happy with our experience. A perfect spot for your next milestone celebration!

Wheelchair accessibility: Family member in a wheelchair had handicap parking available and was able to sit comfortably at the table with our other guests.

This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. I tried the Cheese Enchilada and Chili Relleno with rice and beans, and it was absolutely delicious. The Morena's Margarita was fantastic and strong. My son had the Filet Mignon Enchilada and loved it! We finished with the Fried Ice Cream for dessert, which was amazing. The atmosphere was inviting, and the staff were very attentive and just awesome. Don’t wait—head over to this place, you won’t be disappointed!

I always come here whenever I'm in the mood for Mexican food and it never disappoints. They make fresh hand made tortillas and they offer chips and salsa as you wait for your food. They have a great selection for food. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. They offer the best margaritas! I love ordering their fajitas. Great portion sizes for the pricing. They offer an amazing churro dessert that comes with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, its so delicious. I would recommend dining here!!
