I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I love how the service is always excellent and they keep the spot well organized all the time. Pricing is fair and they serve generous portions.
At the moment you come to that restaurant they give you a pleasant feeling. Very courteous hosts, it is a friendly restaurant to hang out with friends or with your date. delicious cuisine, professional chef, honest pay and attentive service. Highly recommended.
This restaurant is my favored. I go to many restaurants but to this place I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very affectionate and the cuisine they cook is so delicious. I never decline to have a good dinner here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
This spot has first-rate service and delicious meals. The best restaurant ever. The meals served rapidly and the prices were reasonable. Recommended.
Super delicious! Very kind team as well. I love their Tom Kha. Will visit again.
So famously amongst my friends, I'm the one who tends to shy away from "fusion" restaurants. I obnoxiously tout myself as a purist, comparing local dishes to that which I've had when I've traveled abroad, scoffing when the bratwurst isn't as good as it is in Berlin, the tacos pale in comparison to those I can get for $0.40USD at Taqueria la Hormiga in Puerto Vallarta, or the pad see ew is nowhere near as flavorful as it is in Bangkok. And yet, this place is five stars for me. Almost inexplicably. But they did something that most don't do. They got the basic formula correct. You see, I find that fusion usually pays attention to half of the recipe. They take an unimaginative burrito and add interesting Filipino spices. They take a boring hamburger and throw bone marrow on top of it. They start with plain ramen, and add something weird. And they call it fusion. What I realized when eating at Munch was this. Both sides of the equation were balanced. Take the yellow curry away from the cheeseburger, and it's still a gourmet cheeseburger. Excellent brioche, top-grade beef, perfectly cooked, rich Havarti cheese... and THEN they added a yellow curry that could ALSO stand alone for its quality. The raviolis, again, were comparable to that at a fine Italian restaurant, then the sauce was red curry, which again was fantastic in and of itself. The Thai shrimp flatbreads, yet again, would be delicious bar food on its own, yet the fat prawns and multilayered Thai flavors added to the equation... they just work. You could separate out the Thai flavors and the American dishes and double the size of the menu and they'd all stand alone. That's what makes this place unique, to me... they concern themselves with both sides of the culinary equation, and the result is fusion that doesn't compromise either the foundational dish nor the infusion of Thai goodness.Honestly, a very pleasant surprise, from a fusion skeptic, to put it mildly. Though maybe I shouldn't put it mildly... I prefer my food like I like my men, a little spicy.
Great affordable food, knowledgeable, accommodating staff.Beautiful ambiance, clean andIm from out of town hope to come back again. I wish you well MUNCH BISTRO Chad!
Chad my son worked at this place while in California. Chad, he resigned, returned home and now you are withholding his final paycheck. Chad, you cancelled his direct deposit, requested his home address and refuses to mail his earned wages to his home of record. Chad this wreaks with wage theft on every level which by the way is ILLEGAL! Chad, I as well have every call and text documented as his reasonable efforts to remedy all of your requests. Yet Chad, you still refuse pay him. YES a complaint with California's Labor Department, California's Labor Commissioner's Office and a civil suite is worth it. Good luck with your illegal activities and antics.
Excellent garlic and pepper pork ribs, the pad Thai was very tasty too! They have a wall of beers you can sample by the ounce. Jacob provided very good service.
Nice environment but seating was uncomfortable. Fun beer concept. Expected more veggies in the Pad Thai, but after re-reading the menu realized that was not their recipe.

Very good! Had the scallops, crab curry, pad Thai with pork. Everything tasted good. Just wish it was more spicy...but not bad
Where to begin...we ordered takeout, picked it up, and went home only to find that the grand majority of our order was wrong. The spice level was off, specific Instructions were not followed, and the overall quality and taste of the food was less than expected. The pork dish had an odd, slight fish taste (of most concern) that was very unexpected. Definitely don't see myself going back anytime soon...or ever.
The food is so tasty. They've done a great job. So many beer taps, and their system is awesome
Great service, Really good food at good prices. Pad Se with Tai tea was awesome. Give them a try.
The Munch on the Beach vegan dish was delicious. Cooked very well, great texture. I can tell Kris is amazing with customer service from my own experience and her interactions with other customers. She was very helpful walking me through my first time. I love the beer selection and the self-pour wall, so many choices and I can buy a little or a lot depending on how much I like the beer.
