No.1 Chinese Food

This place has new owners and many great improvements! They have a lot of great hot & ready Chinese food & soups and cook to order dishes. The 2 items combo is really filling and priced very well! The staff is really friendly and provided great customer service, too. I've been a few times and really enjoyed my food. 5 Stars!

Orange chicken is hard and chewy. Chow mein is over cooked. Instead of No. #1, maybe their name should be No. #50.

The amount of food you get for what you are paying for it is not worth ,its a new owner

Just picked up my honey walnut shrimp. Huge pieces of shrimp. And it's delicious. Thank you for waiting an extra 10min while I walked to pick up my order. I greatly appreciated it. My new Chinese fav. Spot.

Absolutely disgusting!!!! My husband and I took one bite and threw it away. To top it all off I walked in was standing at the counter and the girl was sitting and playing with her phone . I had to say helooooo.. and then she got up. I preordered and she had not done anything yet. Till I got there . Food looked as if it had been sitting for hours!!!! Well that was my first time since the new owners took over . I used to love the old owners . They were so sweet and productive.. well I guess you don’t know till you try . Service and food sucked . And I was soooo hoping it was going to be good . I live across the street, so it would’ve been an easy walk, but won’t be going back.

People in HB dont know what good Chinese is. Number 1 is a big number 2 for me. Been several times. Its not even close to good. The great wok is about 1 mile away if you want decent Chinese. Avoid number 1..dont pay attention to the reviews just look at the photos..its like a panda express.

Was pleasantly surprised when I requested no chow mein or rice on a 2 item combo, and they filled the tray with veggies and main dishes. Places like Panda Express would never do this, or they'd charge more. It's standard steam table Chinese. Service is quick and friendly, even with custom orders. Our company ordered trays for the last holiday party, and there was so much food (and really delicious beef and broccoli) for a reasonable price. Highly recommend the combos for a quick and tasty lunch.

Parking: Plenty of parking (it's adjacent to a grocery store).

I love coming here when I visit home. Prices are fair. Food is great. Service is awesome! And it's close to my mom's house. Another good thing is, there's the dry cleaners, other food spots, Albertsons and my favorite Bagel spot, Bagel Tea.

Local Chinese food buffet. Food was fresh, price was right, friendly staff and location was cleaner than most similar type restaurants.
