Food is good enough but person taking food orders was lazy and rude. Like this place but he needs to go.

When we visit the Bolsa Chica area we always stop at this restaurant as their food is delicious and refreshing on a hot Summer day. The food is Hawaiian based so if you are looking for rice, poke, or a fried egg give this place a try you will not be disappointed. A few recommendations are the poke salad bowls, salmon, and the burger they are cooked to perfection. The seafood they use is fresh and they grill it just right with a crispy skin and the inside is soft and not dry. The rice and salads that come with many of the meals are served hot and are mixed well. There are also Hawaiian drinks from lychee to Hawaiian beer - they also sell regular beers and alcoholic drinks on the menu. The wait time for the food is a little long as they make the items right when you order them. None of the items taste like they have been sitting or are warmed up - they assemble each combo plate as they are being ordered. This is a type of restaurant where you order in the window and wait for your order to be called. As for tables it's first come first serve they are scattered throughout both in front of the restaurant and the beach area. They also have live musicians and bands playing on different days and times. If you want to come and listen to the live music you can do that without having to purchase food. You can order drinks from their bar and relax and enjoy the sunset. The only downside is that the prices are a little high especially for some items that are small as in the burger and salads. The total amount for your food is comparable to eating at a restaurant as you could easily spend over 100 for a few plates and drinks. Out of all the restaurants along the beach on PCH I say this is the best one and they have attentive customer service which is always a plus.

The place was closed. No sure if it opens at certain hours. It's about 3 miles north of the HB pier.

Good live music. Drinks. The street tacos are really good here!

Music was fun. Drinks and food were good. Fun time to have friends come meet for music and liquid refreshments.

Jordan T on the beach!!! This was the BEST Reggae concert I have ever been to!! Everybody is so friendly from the staff that runs this place to the audience they attract. Everyone felt connected like a big family just Vibing out to some Great food & even better music! I had the pleasure of having a full on conversation with one of my Favorite Reggae artists (Jordan T) before he even performed because this place is super low key. This was a date night for me BUT... looking back I wish I would have told my whole Fam to reserve a Cabana because their events are Very family friendly. I also had the Mahi Mahi burrito and a taste of their Teriyaki Chicken bowl and these dishes DID NOT disappoint! Soooooo Good! They have a full on bar serving up my favorite Beer, Kona Big Wave! Highly Recommend & I will Definitely be back!

Been back here many times to enjoy the amazing food & super rad on the beach vibes. Cannot thank Chef Gene enough for Blessing our community with his out of this world yummy food! The right-on-the-beach location & live entertainment are already off the chain, but coupled with the "Top Chef" caliber food ( and yes, the owner Chef Gene actually did compete on the show Top Chef)... this is easily our favorite local spot to hang on the beach, listen to good live music, and eat bomb af food!!!!

I gave Pacific kitchen to three because the atmosphere is great the drinks are good but the food is terrible. I ordered a Poki bowl (my favorite meal to get) and it was absolutely the worst I’ve ever had. I I only had about five bites and threw the rest away. So disappointing as my husband and I I have talked about having lunch here every time we ride by ?

We were turned away today at 1pm because there was a "ticketed event." So, we were unable to order any food - on a Saturday - unless we had tickets to see whatever bands were playing. We specifically met friends at the beach at this location so we could grab some good food for lunch. We shared a bag of pretzels from the car instead. I also saw the bouncers (bouncers people!) make a lady walk around the whole property/dumpsters to get to the restrooms. Based on other reviews it doesn't seem like the owner cares about serving the beach community so much as creating a downtown HB scene at the beach. No thanks. Let some food trucks in.

Let me start by saying. My hubby & I have been to bolsa for over 30years. This is the area we would hang out at. It is nice there's a place by the beach you can have drinks & listen to live music. You can sit & enjoy the scenery of the beach & everyone else on the boardwalk. I do have have some big issues. They close off the whole area around pacific kitchen. Some beachgoers dont go to the bar or eatery, they just want to use restrooms. When you enter the area, there's a doorman that checks your purse!!! Everytime you enter. It's not a nightclub!! I feel uncomfortable for children that walk by people that are drunk, because they need to use restrooms. Another thing is, they block all entrances to this area. Even the one where the flat ramp is. There's suppose to be handicap accessible. Pacific kitchen needs to make some changes. The restrooms are public. So anyone can use them. They dont belong to pacific kitchen. They need to open all restrooms. Some are locked. They are also dirty. Especially because you have drunk people around that whole area. Bolsa chica needs to look @ these issue s & address them. That's why I gave it 2 stars.
