I had breakfast at the Park Bench Cafe for the first time ever this past Sunday and I loved it. My son and I take regular walks through Central Park but we usually go later in the day when it's closed. We were pleasantly surprised to find it open until 2:30pm on Sundays, so we stopped on our walk for breakfast. Wow! Delicious homemade food, friendly service and lovely tables with umbrellas. If this place used fresh ingredients it would be amazing. Everything tasted like it was frozen or came from a can , but you can’t beat the location. , especially if you have a dog .
But wow, if they actually used good ingredients this place would have a huge wait , but most food they serve is really greasy and ultra processed. Think butter from a squeeze bottle on your toast- yuch
