I bought a whole chiken yesterday for my family without the sides. As soon we arrived home and started to eat it, the smell was so bad. We didn't finish the chicken, it smelled like it was saved or something like that. I loved the location and the help from the cashier. But please more careful with that.. I tried chiken there before, and was much better than what I got yesterday. Thanks

Microwaved food! This used to be our favorite Peruvian restaurant. However, we’ve noticed a decline in the quality of both service and food.

We ordered pollo a la brasa, fries and a salad. The pollo la brasa was under seasoned and underflavored, as some other people have mentioned, but the big concern was that it was microwaved! I could tell because there were hot and cold pockets, a telltale sign of food being microwaved. The fries were okay, its hard to mess up fries, and the salad was solely lettuce (and old lettuce at that) and tomato with ranch. Peruvian salad is supposed to come with aliño, but I didn’t knock off stars for that; it’s a difficult sauce to make here in the US.

There was a highchair for our baby, which was nice as not all small restaurants have one, but no ice for the drinks, and the restaurant was dimly lit. Being next door to a hookah lounge, you’d expect the door to be closed, but it was left open.

All in all, not a great experience. We have recently (post-COVID) purchased take-out, and maybe had a higher-expectation of dine-in, however, even if I remove expectations from before, food quality was sub-standard.

It’s crazy that I have to go get my own food from the counter at a restaurant. It’s super expensive and the portions are small compared to other Peruvian restaurants. Also, the food doesn’t come out all at once’s they call out plates as they are cooked. So your party or company will be eating separately. I should have listened to the other reviews for this restaurant and stayed away.

I paid 11$ for one stuffed potato that had very little meat in it. Super overpriced and I got a whole chicken as well. The flavor was not there and it was like $30

Terrible attention from the cashier, I ordered a ceviche and a lomo saltado, it was 8:18 pm and she told me that it was only for takeout because they were going to close, I told her that on the door it says that they close at 9 and she said that until Clean up at 9, then he gave me the dishes and told me I could eat quickly until 8:30 because they had to close, they practically threw me out.

I am sorry, but l have to be honest. The Lomo saltado meat was over cooked , not tasty at all, the ceviche fish was not fresh, looked like has been in freezer for a long time the papa rellena was 75 % potatoe, little meat that also was not very tasty. The board that had the prices was covered,They increased their pricesI paid for my meal over $60 dollarsI did not finish my food.I am Peruvian and know what should taste like. Not worth the money I wasted.I am sorry for being direct.

Love this place. We’ve been eating here for awhile. Recently we had an Uber eats order here and the Uber eats person canceled after we waited a long time, so the restaurant staff went above and behind to compensate us with extra food and cookies (even though it was Uber Eats’ fault). The hostess was super nice with excellent customer service! Oh and the food is always delicious!
