Pete's Sunset Grille

We have never had a bad experience at Pete's until last night. Food is good for a hotel and servers such as Jimmy (haven't seen him in a while) are first-class. As locals, we believe it's essential to support Pete's by dining and drinking there in exchange for the amazing free concert series. We want to help the bands. But last night, we tried to dine there. There were at least four open tables outside, but the host would not seat us without a long wait. We canceled our reservation and walked home. It appears that no one was available to wait on those empty tables. We know help is hard to find and to retain these days, but it was really a missed revenue opportunity for Pete's and for the hotel.

Pretty good fried rice, ahi tuna + chicken sandwiches and tacos except fish and chip. And the lime with taco was very dry so you can’t squeeze it. Very friendly staff. Nice environment.

We got chips & salsa w/guac, chicken pot pie, salad, and Mallory’s tort. All of the food was very good- though the entrees were on the small side. Tiki drinks were fun and better than I was expecting. Service was quick and friendly (it was a slow night).

We had a really nice lunch out on the patio. The drinks were great, server was friendly and efficient, and the food was really good. I ordered sushi and a side of fries. The portions were big and filling. It was an overall great experience.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day. We booked a table through Google. Delicious food, pleasant and fast service, pleasant family atmosphere. Most of the visitors are from the nearby hotel. It's nice to walk around the area before and after dinner.

Well done! Food was perfect. Friendly staff and the portions are generous.

Came for the Christmas Pop Up bar. It was greatly decorated, and I sat in the bar area. Cute drink names and themed cups for it. Had a burger. It was good. I came twice, and both times, service was slow, and there weren't many people in the bar or restaurant

Excellent! Receptionist is very helpful and welcoming. The floor staffs are knowledgeable. The foods are delicious. The teamwork is great.

We stayed at the resort and this was the first place we decided to eat. They have outdoor seating that is straight across from the beach. They also have a couple igloo that you can eat in outside if it’s too chili. Plenty of seating inside as well. The chips, salsa and guacamole were so delicious. The chips came out hot and were so good. I also enjoyed the mushroom Swiss cheeseburger. It’s 1/2 pound and it’s a big sandwich! Our server was Trever and he was wonderful. He was so busy because it really filled up while we were there and he didn’t miss a beat!

Didn’t expect the hotel’s diner. Nonetheless, service was great, food LOOKED phenomenal, 2 of the 4 of us were wildly disappointed with our dishes.

Plus, it was VERY expensive! $150 for 4 (1 drink and basket of chips, plus our meals) is too much!

I came during the holiday season to have a drink with five of my friends. I called ahead and was able to put my name in luckily making it so when we arrived, our table was ready. Service was truly the problem. We waited at our table for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. It then took about another 10 to 15 minutes to get the drink and then we were completely ignored after they were dropped off. I ended up going to the hostess simply to even make payment. I got a holiday blackberry drink and I’m sorry to say it was terribly made. I had a couple other people try out just to make sure it wasn’t me and we all agreed. The atmosphere is obviously very fun but outside that it was a huge disappointment for some birthday drinks.

Great location and relaxed vibe. Plenty of seating inside and outside. The food was good but I would have to say pretty average especially for the price point. I had the fish tacos which had good flavor but it doesn’t come with any sides so you’re just getting two tacos and a few tortilla chips. My husband had the cheeseburger which he said was mediocre. The French fries were tasty and cooked well. The staff was very friendly but service was pretty slow and a bit inattentive. I only ordered a water and drank it all half way through our lunch and no one ever came by to refill it.
