Emily was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable, and friendly and really made this first experience with this company an excellent one. 100/10 recommend. The pistachio croissant was so yummy 😋 I also Got a chamomile tea with rose cream 🤤

this used to be me and my partner's go-to coffee spot, but the beverage quality has really gotten so bad lately that it's pretty much put us off of Philz altogether.

Cute and quaint coffee shop. The mint mojito coffee is my favorite. (Almost) every coffee is made to order and never been disappointed. Great coffee house and pastries.

Philz Coffee in Huntington Beach, located in Bella Terra, was honestly a letdown during our recent visit. While we’ve heard good things about the brand, this location didn’t live up to the hype. One of the first things we noticed walking in was the trash bin near the front door—completely overflowing. Cups and napkins were spilling out, and despite staff walking past it multiple times, no one seemed to care. It gave off an unclean, neglected vibe right from the start.

The service didn’t help matters either. My wife asked a simple question about the type of milk used in one of their drinks, and the barista responded with noticeable sarcasm and attitude. It wasn’t even a busy moment; there were only a few people inside. I understand being short-staffed or having a long shift, but there’s no reason to treat customers that way—especially when they’re just trying to understand the menu.

The drinks themselves were fine, but the overall experience soured our visit. With so many coffee options in Huntington Beach, this location really needs to step up its game. We won’t be coming back to this Philz anytime soon. Definitely not the warm, welcoming coffee shop vibe we were expecting.

Great coffee, great employees!

Kaile, she is awesome and I was having a lousy day and she lit the room up with her smile and bought me a cookie and she made my day better. As a regular every time I am in here she is always kind and caring to customers around. You have an amazing barista and I hope she is recognized for that. --- Kat is a great manager, she leads by example and is always professional with her employees. A good leader gets her employees to work with her not against her.

I love Philz Coffee it’s one of my favorite spots, however the guy working there with glasses who is the barista literally SCREAMS the name of the orders. I got a headache and wasn’t able to enjoy my time with my friend there. He needs to tone it down or use a paper system. He screams names every 2-3 minutes like dude please. Otherwise used to love this spot.

This place is great! I love the vibes here, the employees are amazing and so caring. The drinks are very original and excellent. I got the iced mint mojito and it’s mind blowing! 10000/10

Philz is a straight forward coffee shop. No blended iced matcha etc. In the early mornings, there is always ample seating while waiting or having a sip. I recommend the philtered soul coffee if you are looking for something less subtle than the big competitor's coffee.

The coffee was delicious, I also ordered the chicken pesto sandwich it was cold in the middle.

Coffee is awesome, even small size Jacob dark & bold is good enough
