Really wanted to like this place. It is absolutely the worst Yhai I have ever had. It’s not real Yhai, it a Chinese fusion, but even if that was ok the food is terrible. I came home with two appetizers and two entrees and could not take more than a bite of each. If you want real Thai, try Silk Thai on Beach and Adams.

I wanted to try out this place as I kept passing by and have been intrigued. I ordered something simple, pad Thai spicy. I felt the noodles all stuck together and was lacking sauce. It wasn't very spicy and pretty bland. I expected much better.

The food here is amazing. Some of the best time I've had in the states. The service is super good. They are very helpful and want to ensure that you have an enjoyable experience. The atmosphere is pretty basic, it is street food shop after all. They definitely are impressing you with their food not with the scenery. Try this place and help keep them open for as long as possible we need more places like this.

I love that this place is nearby, but so dangerous too, as their food is sooo good! My go to is the Yellow Curry with Chicken or the Pad Thai with Tofu! Their prices are reasonable & their staff are so friendly & helpful! They always go above and beyond. They also have indoor & outdoor seating and they alway decorate for holidays. All in all this is a great place for lunch/dinner, would HIGHLY recommend eating here!

Say Yum Thai Street Food is the truest definition of a hidden gem. It's so tucked in the corner of a non pretentious street corner strip mall that you might just miss what could be the best Thai food in Huntington Beach. It's not a large restaurant which makes it that much homier. The staff is friendly and fast to respond to your needs. There's only 4 tables inside with some more tables outside. The prices are on par with other Thai restaurants nearby ~ $14-$16 for one dinner meal. We ordered everything - chicken satay and crispy tofu appetizers, pineapple fried rice, pad Thai and pad kee mow. Everything was delicious! The bar for us is always how the pad Thai tastes; it's always either too sweet or too bland. Say Yum does it right; their pad Thai is sweet, sour, salty and peppery all at the same time. The pad kee mow has a smoky flavor to it that you will never forget - highly recommended. Will definitely come back soon to try their curry menu. You have many choices for Thai food in Huntington Beach; make sure your journey starts at Say Yum! You won't regret it!

Ordered Chicken yellow curry and Pineapple rice. Both were ready fast and tasted really good. Place has a few tables inside and more outside. Although it is more takeout focused.

Went to say yum last Wednesday during lunch and ordered two lunch specials for takeaway. The staff member who took our order was prompt, efficient and friendly. Lunch specials were great portion sized and $11.99 each which is reasonable. The pad Thai was a little bit fishy for my taste, but my husband enjoyed it. The veggie stir fry with chicken was fantastic! I definitely said "yum" and there were no leftovers. Lunch specials came with salad and wontons. There was limited indoor seating and outside seating. Plenty of parking. Menu has a lot of items and I will return to try other things next time!

I drive past this spot most days and have been waiting to give it a try after seeing the good reviews. They have been here for about a year. Parking is easy and the building itself has been a restaurant for decades but has been nicely remodeled by Say Yum. Seems like a mom n pop shop by the vibe and the lady running the place was quite sweet. You can order from the counter outside for takeout and outside seating or come inside for full waiter service at a few tables. By calling this "street food", I was expecting something different from traditional Thai food but it all looked about the same as any Thai restaurant I have been to in the US. Lots of choices for meat and non meat lovers. Their lunch menu offered some discount prices, as well. The drunken noodles was not on the lunch menu, but I had 10% off because of a Yelp check in, and I was really in the mood for those noodles. It did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken and asked for "mild" spice level as I have learned from past experiences that these dishes can get served uncomfortably hot. I was correct as the spice level was just perfect for my taste. The chicken was lean and plentiful. Veggies were crisp and those noodles were just amazing. The portion size was good and the price was not exactly "street food" level but on par with today's economy. About $13. Great service and tasty food. I'll bring takeout home at some point and I'm looking forward to trying their soups, as well.

This place is so good!!! Super under rated. The fried rice is my favorite and I ordered their mango dessert that was really good too. I would definitely come again and recommend.

My wife and I picked up some food to go and it was amazing! The people working were so nice and friendly and the Pad Thai and Tom Ka soup was so good. She got a Thai iced tea too and I didn’t want to give it back! Definitely recommend to give them a try!!!

Overall, a 3.5/5. We stopped upon this place after my dad heard about a new Thai place in the FV/Huntington Beach. We usually go to Chada or Jumpa Thai for Thai food but we wanted to try something new. We were quite disappointed in how some of the food are bland and so so. My dad and I were craving Pad See Ew so we got it and the taste was off since it was bland and didn't quite taste like the pad see ew that I had at other places. The veggies were also bland too. I had to add the red chili sauce and soy sauce for it to taste decent. I wished it was more sweet and umami flavor like how other places make it. They didn't quite get the flavor right so giving this a 2/5. Probably the worst dish that I had out of the food we got. Next up, I got the Thai Fried rice. It was pretty good and delicious. It was just missing a little bit of the umami flavor that I usually get eating other places. It tasted 85% similar to the other bombast Thai places that I ate at for fried rice. It was good but not excellent. The fried egg and cucumbers were delicious. Overall, giving this a 4.2/5. The star dish was the Red Curry. It tasted exactly how the other bombass Thai restaurant makes it. It was that delicious and spicy. I basically could eat the whole soup and drink the curry soup broth for days. The chicken was tender and flavorful too. Rating this a 5/5. Lastly, we got the Crying Tiger meat. It was delicious and flavorful. It had all of the flavors that I expected there and had the perfect balance of sour and sweet just like how I expected Thai food to be. The meat was delicious and tender and the sauce was phenomenal. Rating the crying dish a 4.5/5. The server was friendly and checked up on us quite often. The restaurant is quite tiny but there are some seating outside but it's too cold to sit outside in this weather. Parking is spacious and plenty. We would probably come back to try the kanom krok (Thai Sweet Mini Pancakes) since my mom was craving them. However, we would probably not get the pad see ew and would not recommend anyone to try out that dish at this place since they didn't get the flavors right.

the quality of the food is exceptional. Each dish is prepared with fresh and authentic Thai spices, resulting in flavors that are vibrant, aromatic, and true to their origins. Whether you prefer your dishes mild or spicy, the chefs can adjust the heat level to suit your taste. The service at is attentive and friendly, with a friendly staff members knowledgeable . Dishes are served promptly, and water glasses are kept filled throughout the meal.
