First Timer and we enjoyed it very much. We live in the city but always drove by. We were glad we tried Slice. Very clean granite stove tables, waiter was informative, helpful and great service. Dined in and finished entrees without leaving a crumb. Soup and Veggies are all you can eat. Amount of meat is first ordered. No sticky tables and presentation done well and adds to enjoyment.

First off, service was great. Jan was killing it with our party of 16. He walked us through the different items in the menu and knew what we needed before we asked for it, even suggesting some items along the way. This man is a veteran of the restaurant game. Pay your respects to him. I'm not really big on hotpot but ordering the Short Rib and Ribeye for protein with the sukiyaki broth made me a believer. My eyes were opened, my tastebuds converted, and my appetite anointed. I could not have enough of the broth! The interior is clean and spacious enough for large groups. There is an electrical stove in front of each chair so nobody needs to reach too far for food. If you're looking for some of that good good, this place has got it.

Celebrated my birthday here with the kids and we had a great experience. We went a little early (5:00ish) and we got right in. We got a large booth, the kids could watch sports on the tv so they were happy. Everyone gets their own pot and gets to pick their broth and extras. There was a large selection of meats at different prices, the sauces were good. Everyone enjoyed their meal- the kids loved the large bento boxes they give you all your food in. My only complaint would be that they give you very little noodles (we ordered udon), but we purchased an additional side of them so it was fine. The place got busy and the outdoor patio and dining area were filling up fast as we were leaving. One thing I appreciated was that the restaurant has good ventilation and smells good, the other shabu place in FV smells horrible when you walk in (super fishy). Slice had no bad smells for anyone that cares about that!

Saturday night we came here the waiting to get the table not insane about 10minutes. The waiter suggested ordering 12 lbs for two people, and it was indeed enough. I ordered pork bone soup with vermicelli and ponzu sauce, while my boyfriend chose miso with udon. Compared to other places, the broth here is very clean without grease. I find the soup at this hot pot place healthier than at other places I've tried. The total cost for two people, including an appetizer, was about $100, including the tip.

The real estate is very huge and roomy. Service by the ELITE Jan was /1 because he is one in a billion. Thank you Jan for providing such excellent service. Tom Yum needed a slight adjustment, more on the diluted spectrum. Everything else was fantastic.

This place has never failed me. Service is immaculate, food and sauces are 10/10. A great place to have one on one quality time with friends/dates or small groups. I've put a handful of my favorite people onto this place and they always say "it's bomb" and I'm so happy they could experience dining here Favorite broth is sukiyaki - raw egg optional Hot drops upon request + chili oil and togarashi on meats and broth for extra flavor Unlimited refills on basic veggies Extra sour ponzu is a must if you like citrus and sour!!!! Their beef toro and pork belly 100 you can never go wrong with those two choices, chefs kiss!

I love this place and would definitely come again! I shared food with my brother and we loved our entree, which was mainly the recommendations from our server. We got the 8 oz. wagyu kobe short rib and ramen with the sukiyaki and pork bone broth combination and spicy garlic and goma sauces. Everything was delicious and complimented each other so well from the veggies and meat to the broth and sauces. The spicy garlic edamame, which was our appetizer, was alright and same with the pom pom drink. I am giving 5 stars because of the server's recommendations for the entree being amazing! The service and ambiance was also great; I was vibing as they played many popular songs.

Food is delicious. It has been delicious for the past years since I was going to the Fullerton location in 2018. Jo was absolutely such a wonderful server to me and my group, and so attentive to everything we wanted. I love this place and cannot recommend it enough.

Service not what it used to be, felt like a bother being there. I used to love this place and the service.

Amazing place that allows you to cook your food to your perfection. I love the technology of a hot stove seamlessly built into the table…custom made?❤️?
