After many years of not coming here I decided to give it a second chance. It was ok. The price is reasonable, the food was very basic. It's a simple diner experience with a lot on the menu. The quality of the food was what you would expect from premade/prepackaged items. If you have a sensitive stomach, this isn't the best option for you. The service was quick and the decor is dated, but in good condition.

So as I'm sitting here at 8:45 on a Friday night, had to drive by because when I called at 8:30 the phone was literally turned off. Went ahead and ordered but was told couldn't get anything fried because the fryers were off. Been coming here for years and since the new owners took over the service is sketchy. If you close at 8:30 then close at 8:30. Don't say you close at 9. Paolo the manager is an idiot and Leah. So rude! Won't be back again. This will catch up to you as a small business! Good luck!

Food comes out nice and steaming hot. Ordered a burger combo with chili fries and a chicken strips basket with honey mustard and bbq sauce. Plenty of tables inside with a clean interior. Really good california burger joint vibes.

I'll admit some nostalgia bias here, but this is my favorite burger place in America. I grew up across the street and when I come back to visit I always stop by and it never disappoints. It's a simple, old-fashioned, greasy-spoon type of diner of the kind that used to be all over the country, but have been replaced by fast food joints and national chains. If you're into that kind of place, Steve's is as good as you'll find. Burgers, fries, fish and chips, grilled cheese, chicken sandwich are my go-to lunch/dinner items and, while they've changed a little over the decades, I'm always pleased with what I get. The breakfast menu is also quite good. The plates are big and the portions are hearty. I really love this place, and I wish I could go to it more often. There used to be photos on the wall of previous patrons and many of them were my family and friends. The photos are gone, but the food remains.

I just ordered a pastrami combo $18.63. The pastrami came on a French roll with three pickles, mustard and a very thin layer of pastrami. It didn't even fill the whole Roll the pastrami had no flavor. It tasted like cardboard. I tried it with mustard. I ended up putting a little taco sauce on it. it still was disgusting for $18.63. I will never go back to this establishment. The Coke was flat. The french fries were over salted with Lawery salt I will drive to the hat next time
