I used to eat here every Saturday when I lived in Huntington Beach. I moved back east and had not been back in 24 years. Super Mex was my favorite Mexican restaurant! My cousin and I stopped in and I ordered the same meal I used to get and they Did Not disappoint!! The shredded beef taco and enchilada was Absolutely delicious! Not a fan of the pinto beans… or the shredded cheese they use in the tacos. Fresh cheese would have been way better. Ordered no lettuce in my taco.. I ended up getting a taco with a lot of lettuce. They put way too much pinto beans on my plate that it covered the one enchilada that I did have on my plate.. so that sucked. Our 2 experiences here have been well worth it. From the margaritas to the appetizers to the dishes, it's all good. But what makes it so good is the service. Undeniably great customer service. The atmosphere is fun and family. Birthdays are celebrated nicely and we felt very comfortable.
