The food was just decent nothing that great. I was hungry so I just ate it. Tacos was good. People have different taste for this kinds of foods.

Overall this was an average Mexican restaurant for the Los Angeles area. This restaurant tends to get more hype because it’s near the beach. However, the Machaca Burrito was good. But the other beef burritos were average.

I come to this special place once a month because I love the special atmosphere that is characterizes this restaurant. The personel is extremely loyal and qualified. The service is certainly rapid. Also, the food you eat is first-rate. I visited many times and I was always happy. The cost is decent. I recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

First time visit to this location. We ordered Fajitas to share. Order arrived on serving plate with rice and beans. I have never had fajitas served like that. They have always come out on a sizzeling hot cast iron skillet. Items were not hot and veggies were just cut up and served. Had to request Guacamole that came with dinner. Also requested butter but sorry no mas. Wife had a Margarita and returned it. Did not taste good. Really disappointed.

The standard Mexican flare here at Super Mex in Huntington Beach , Warner & PCH Salsa and the large tostata chips are good ( same as the tortilla chips , just not cut ) Carne Asada burrito was good , not great , but good , too many re-fried beans as a filler , should be meat and then some more meat as a filler , then a little beans and other stuff to burrito-ize it .. !! Other people I was with had tacos and they liked them very much Service was good and fast Good place to have a beer , cocktail and some food to make a sat. afternoon have a smile at or close to the beach

Wow! Really surprised by the varied menu, tasty food & friendly service. The burritos are huge! The medudo soup is gigantic! The salsa is really good and the chips are actual whole tostadas that come out piping hot. Happy hour until 7 p.m. beers are $3.99 and margarita $5.75. You also get 40% off 4 house appetizers, loaded nachos $8.20 and can be shared by 3. I recommend getting with the carne desmeshada. My only complaint was the margarita....pure ice, no color, no taste - it was terrible, not worth getting!

The day was cold and my friend wanted soup. He chose the Cosido and I had the combination plate. Good food, great service and a pleasant atmosphere.

My second trip to Huntington Beach would not have been complete without a trip to Super Mex. I love their food and the service is always fabulous. Rarely when one dines alone does waitstaff pay much attention to them; but this place is always very welcoming and continuously checks to make sure everything is ok. Try the Santa Monica PCH, you will not regret it. Will visit again on my next visit.
