Convenient, but the food is terrible. Second time eating here - the first time a couple months ago I ordered a latte and breakfast sandwich. The latte tasted like burnt coffee. The breakfast sandwich was mediocre. This morning, I tried the yogurt parfait. Water buildup on top of the yogurt like it was old and whole unsliced almonds in there. Only like 3 berries. Terrible tasting it got thrown out.

Nice quick eats and take out for people staying at the hotels. The food is above average and if you have Hilton Gold Status or above, you get $15 per person breakfast credit (up to $30) per day here.

Good food. Convenient. But very pricey.

Not what you think it is. Just a little hole in the wall selling some little things and a few snacks from grill and shelf

Agree with so many of the reviews here that this place has a great location and tons of potential but just falls short. The valet was slow and disinterested and of course the prices are insane but if the service was just a little better and information was easier to get I think the place could make for a decent trip. The fold out coach was the worst we've ever had at a Hilton and it's tough to pay for a suite and that bed be unusable so I'm not sure how they correct that. We had to hunt down the info on the resort fee and how we should be keeping track of $5 off this or $10 off that and it just seems like too much work. A couple helpful tips- They do have free internet but you have to know to ask for it and go get a special code from the front desk. they DO have in room dining but again, you have to know to go get a card with a QR code for the menu from the front desk. The DO have towels in the pool area hidden behind the slides and you can steal those for the beach and the biggest one, they DO have an outlet at the beach where you can get chairs and umbrella and such to the south of the hotel but you have to know to go look as the hotel employees and internet info will only tell you about the expensive beach services available. If you know some of these things up front maybe you can have a better time than we did. Oh.. The Breakfast Buffet is 34.50.. thats not posted anywhere but is a fun surprise.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and the rooms were great. The hotel itself is modern and well maintained. The only negative was the main pool area was crowded and loud. Would go back if in the area, great location on the beach.

Great stay at Waterfront resort. Clean spacious room, Friendly staff. Located a short walk across the street from the beach. Walking distance to Huntington Pier and Main Street with numerous shops and Dining. Resort has two pools one with a water slide and a sand play area. Only cons I found were that housekeeping was request only (sorry I like daily cleaning without asking) and only offer valet only (unlimited in/out) however sometimes the wait can be a bit so budget that into your time, no self-park options.

Before I even arrive the service is amazing! Brooklyn, the hostess at the Cabo Waco Beach Club, was so helpful to make reservations for dinner for my friend and I, even thinking ahead to the best placement to see the sunset.

I will start with the good first, then end with the bad. This was a beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The beach was right across the street and the pier a short walk away. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Our room was a partial ocean view ( Huntington Tower), but I would call it ocean view. The balconies are angled toward the ocean. Also the room was fresh and modern. Great large pool with sandy play area for the kids. I would have rated this hotel 5 stars if it wasn't for the following. (1) The air conditioner had a loud banging noise. Service came up to our room to look at it (hotel already was aware of the problem, since we did not report it yet). He turned the fan off and said it would still work. He said he would come back next day to repair it while we were out. Overnight the rattling continued all night. The next day when we returned we thought it was fixed. Around 1am we woke up sweating. The air no longer worked at all. We had to open the balcony door to get some cool air in the room. We were checking out next morning, so it did not make sense to try to change rooms so late. We didnt get sleep either night we were there. (2) I was extremely disappointed with the Cabo Wabo restaurant. I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease over 6 years ago. I have never been treated so demeaning by any other restaurant, let alone at a Hilton property. The menu has a few items marked as gluten free. I told the waiter of my allergy when I placed my order. He looked me up and down ( like my appearance had anything to do with allergy), then told me how the chef would not be happy because he would have to clean the grill. There were 3 options on the menu. I said I would take whichever one would be easiest (fajitas, tacos or nachos). He said none were easy, I ordered the tacos. He huffed then left. Very unprofessional for any restaurant, let alone a Hilton establishment. After all that, I ended up getting sick overnight. Next day I ate elsewhere. I highly recommend Ola Mexican Kitchen for gluten free options just a short walk away (excellent service, great food and wonderful ocean views).

Furniture is a little dated. Food was ok. View from my balcony was nice. Beds are not that comfy. No microwave in room. The lady at the pizza place was rude. Entry way carpet of hotel needs updated. T

Stayed here 4 nights with wife and 2 daughters and mother in law. We reserved a 2 queen beds suite which had a separate sitting room with roll out couch in the twin dolphin tower. Nice sized fridge in room. A few thoughts: 1) Hotel was extremely clean and seems to have undergone a recent renovation as everything felt new no signs of aging. 2) Room was spacious and well appointed. Our ocean view room had decent views but I would recommend North Facing rooms (towards Huntington pier) as the south has views of an unsightly industrial plant. 3) Staff very friendly and laid back. All guests were friendly. Overall this place is perfect for families with kids who want to have fun. Not a couples or honeymooners or retirees place. Some people had their dogs with them so animal-friendly. 4) Kids enjoyed water slides but I was able to swim laps in the other pool which had lane markers underwater. This pool was about 20 meters. Pools were pretty much empty between 7-9am. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas don’t need to fight or get aggro over them. 5) Gym is a serious facility with heavy dumbbells, etc. 6) Wifi strong and was free if booking directly with Hilton Honors. 7) I’m a surfer and was able to paddle out directly in front of the hotel. South side pier is only a five minute walk down the beach. Plenty of surf shops at main intersection. 8) Valet parking was not cheap ($45/day) but you can come and go as you like so overall fair given the area you are. 9) Food is meh. Suggest walking to the mall just North of hotel which has several nice selections or the main intersection with Dukes, etc. Newport is only a 10 minute drive away with a lot of options. 10) We got morning coffee and bagels at the Hero’s Marketplace but their pizza was rubbery. Drinks at the poolside are pricey. Bring your own water to the room. 11) You will drop a fair bit of money at this place but overall a really nice family stay and good overall vibe….we will return.

Our suite was beautifully decorated and the balcony was wonderful for watching the sunset over the ocean. Cabo Wabo restaurant was over priced bar food, $29 for a standard margarita by the pool, is is ridiculous. Rooftop bar closed at 10:00 and the Cabo Wabo bar closed at 10:30, the carpet rolls up at this resort by 10:30. Better to eat and drink off property.

This resort is in a great spot, but completely overpriced! The rooms are falling apart and it is not a $700/night hotel. We stayed for three nights and when we got to the room our fridge was not working so we had to have someone come fix it. Also, the bathroom ceiling was falling apart. The next night, I took a bath and the bath starting not draining. Three men worked for about two hours on the bathroom while we had to miss our dinner plans. The kids pool was very dirty with garbage all around the pool and hottub. If you want your room to be cleaned you must call everyday. It took two calls and we didn't get cleaned until 5 pm. We left on a Tuesday and the hotel was very quiet. They would not let us check out 15 minutes after check out time (11:15 am) and actually they were pounding on our door to get out at 10:45 am. I was very disappointed and will not stay here again.

The property is nice, bedding is great. Strange that the only pool bar service is at the kiddie pool (great if you have kids, sucks if you just want to chill and relax). The food wasn’t good at all and most was cold. Room service is your best bet. Internet is slow, room service was fast ;) As with most Hiltons, they only clean after 4 night stays.
