Not a lot of flavor, “soupy” beans and cheese must be worth more than gold,as they don’t use much. I expected more from previous reviews. It was disappointing. And they charge a fee for using a debit card.

I went here with some coworkers last week. There were 8 of us in total and while this restaurant was on the smaller side in terms of seating the food was definitely worth it. We had several people in the group with dietary restrictions and all those restrictions were accounted and accommodated for. Everyone had a great time and the food was delicious. An emergency unfortunately happened and I had to eat my food several hours later but even then it was so delicious. Personally I think if take out food still tastes good after being reheated in a microwave then it’s a sign of a well prepared meal. I had a street carnitas taco, two hard shell beef tacos, and a chimichanga. Everything was so delicious and very affordable. My whole meal was under $25 and it was incredibly filling and satisfying. I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants and had my fair share of the cuisine and this is definitely a place I would return to!Dietary restrictions: Some people were gluten and dairy free and were easily able to find things to eat.

If your looking for something that's better than taco bell or del taco it gets the job done well quick and the employees are nice.

Came to Taco Fridas late one Wednesday after a long day of work. The restaurant is in a small strip mall and an unassuming building.I ordered a chip/guac appetizer. The chips came covered in guac and shredded cheese. The chips were a bit stale but that’s the coast for ya. Portion size was big. 4/5I ordered a small taco plate which came with 5 tacos with your choice of meat. I got one adobada, two chorizo and two asada. All came with cilantro and onions on them. The adobada was my favorite and of course, I only got one. The chorizo was my second favorite and the asada was least. The asada was relatively bland while the others were quite flavorful. They were not particularly small tacos and the portions were very generous. 5/5I would totally give this place 4.5 if I could but they don’t quite deserve 5 star in my opinion but it was very good. The value was outta this world. $10 for that plate of tacos is a steal.Service was great and attentive 5/5Bathrooms were clean 5/5Will return

The staff is definitely very friendly! No wrongdoing there. I had no idea the name changed and Taco Jerez closed down, so when my partner and I got there and ate we were pretty disappointed in the taste. The prices are different than Taco Jerez, and the food is unfortunately bland and has no flavor. If you're looking for authentic mexican food this is not the place to go anymore.

I work across the street and really enjoy the food here. Especially the breakfast burritos! They are large and made very well! I get the chorizo every time and it is so good! Made to order and fresh! Highly recommended!

The sign on the outside ONLY says Tacos by the way.... flavorful food, small restaurant, so small you might not see it... seriously. It is on Beach Blvd & Newman, catty-corner to Hoag.

Great food at a reasonable price. We're from Sacramento and whenever we're visiting Huntington Beach, we always stop by.
