It appears this place is closed. We went by on December 17 and the lights were out. The bartender at a restaurant nearby told us it had been closed about 2 months. Hopefully they reopen because they have a great beer list.

This place has a nice vibe to it. The drink selection is large and they're able to provide you with a large menu, depending on your taste buds. The food is solid and the view compliments everything in a whole.

We are so sad to see the American Dream shut down. Regardless of how it ended, for many years it has been one of the best places to head in Pacific City, or even Huntington Beach! Great, great burgers, and such a large collection of the best beers and the best view you're going to get anywhere on the coast. I loved the burgers and the garlic fries and their mac & cheese. Oh dear God Yum. And their buffalo cauliflower, probably just about everything and did I say the best view ever. I hope somebody takes it over and makes it fabulous. I'm sure they will. It's prime real estate right there.

Service was amazing! Food was 10/10. They had a large supply of different drinks and were more than happy for us to taste test each and everyone one of them until we found our perfect cup! The only reason I'm giving this a one star is the fact that I recently went in with my family and apparently the "owner: Jerry" was publicly intoxicated and causing a scene with the staff and customers. He then offered us free drinks after he slapped a GLASS cup out of my brothers hand due to him having his own opinions about music. They were having a cordial conversation apparently up until there was a disagreement of opinions? He then tried fighting one of the cooks shortly after and kept placing his hands on him. It was an alarming scene how such a nice well functioned place was ran by someone so aggressive. We immediately were taken care of by a manager after they apologized for the hostile encounter we just witnessed. The staff remained calm the entire time and still were promoting more drinks and pushing food out faster due to the event occurring. The ability that the staff was able to adapt fast to the hostile situation was impeccable because we ended up buying another round of drinks! The managers were amazing and so nice 10/10. The staff working that night were 10/10 with the food and hospitality. All Staff is 5 STARS. Food/Drinks 5 STARS. You can definitely tell the staff has loyalty to the restaurant just the higher ups apparently showed they don't deserve to have them. We've all seen this in Gordon Ramsay's nightmare restaurant shows!

Casual eatery with good sized meals, 3 of us had the 3 Tacos meal and another had a burger. We were all very happy with our meals and the service. Location was nice too. You could probably share some of the meals as they were very generous. We would happily return.

I got the bbq burger with onion straws. Sooooo delicious. That's bbq sauce was unreal with the right amount inside. I'd def go back for that The fries were whatever. Nothing to brag about but also nothing to poo poo My sprite was flat, then coke was flat so just got water Service was good. Girl was nice. Nice view!!!!! I'd def go back

Worst place ever! Do not go here. Charged us $30 for spending money. Went to watch airshow in 2022 and loved it came back in 2023 got the worst service ever. Seated and noone said there was a limit after an hour told us we had 90 mins. We spent over $100 for two people. No one waiting empty tables and they harassed customers and charged us for spending money We are locals and will tell everyone we know to avoid this place rip off scam worst customer service. I repeat avoid this place!!!!!!!!! Why not just let people hang out and spend money? Unless there's a line out the door which there wasn't. And you should not be charging me a fee. That I was never told about that's wrong.

We waited 15 minutes and no one helped us! I saw the server hanging out and drinking a beer with another bartender and guest so I guess that was more important. Multiple people left because of the bad service. I'm all for the servers having a good time but not at the expense of paying customers. Very disappointing!

Not a hotel, but a restaurant. Burgers and salads mostly. They validate parking, which is nice because a burger, side and a soft drink will run you $20. Great burger, crispy fries, and a nice view of the beach.Food & drinks: Gastropub menu witha few vegetarian options like Buffalo cauliflower bites.

the service is friendly and attentive. the food is pretty good and priced appropriately for the location. not sure I'd ever give a burger joint 5 stars but the noise level didn't help. not their fault. the place is basically in a five sided concrete box with the open end facing a southern california freeway... add in the loose beach vibe and the only time this place is quiet is probably about 2 hours after closing. all in all... Ill be back.
