Loved working with The Sweets Life by Liza, the team there did a great job making a cake from the inspiration picture I gave them. The flavors were awesome and although there were no leftovers I'm super looking forward to eating the anniversary cake they make for you (it's 2018 people, nobody eats frozen cake anymore lol)! My experience with Liza was absolutely wonderful! I contacted her a week and a half in advance for my boyfriend's cupcakes and she was available and willing to do all my customizations! The cupcakes that were made were half chocolate and half vanilla with her homemade salted caramel buttercream icing and caramel drizzle. THEY WERE A HIT. Coming back to her for every birthday!

I found Liza through Yelp and asked her to make my mom an awesome birthday cake, since I was not going to be home. Liza was super friendly and helpful, even offering to deliver the cake to my mom for an extra surprise! The cake turned out fantastic and my mom really loves it. I really recommend Liza if you're looking for something special, because she is super patient and earnest, and will work with you to make exactly what you're looking for :)

I found Liza through Yelp, as I was searching for nearby bakeries. My family and I were celebrating my aunt's 60th birthday and I was looking for a place to make delectable treats. When I found Liza's website I also viewed her Instagram account and saw that she made the cutest cupcake bouquet. When I picked up my order I was blown away by Liza's creativity, as the bouquet looked even better in person! I ordered the red velvet cupcakes with tinted buttercream icing. The guests who ate them enjoyed every bite, including myself. The cakes were absolutely delicious and moist. I highly recommend consulting with Liza for your baked good needs. She was super helpful and went the extra mile to make it easy for me to transport the cupcake bouquet to San Diego from Huntington Beach. I'll definitely be contacting Liza in the future, as she has an entire menu of delicious goodies to try :) Enjoy the photos!!
WOW! These cupcakes are nothing short of orgasmic. I'm talking cream-your-pants good! I first had these at the Pageant of the Masters season opener VIP party in July and I figured they'd be good but wow, they really got my attention. I don't know how Liza did it but these perfectly moist and fluffy cupcakes were topped with just the right amount of frosting to create something rich without being too rich, and sweet without being too sweet. The frosting reminded me of the buttercream frosting my mom used to make - real butter and just the right amount of sweetness. The cake was moist and fluffy without falling apart like some I've had. So a couple months later I was had family visiting and ordered 2 dozen of 4 different flavors. They were even better than I remembered. Rich chocolate flavor, nice bright pear flavor with spiced cake, and the salted caramel frosting... my absolute favorite! And to add icing on the cake (haha, you like how I snuck that in?) I got two extra cupcakes as a surprise, made to look like... wait for it... P*** EMOJI! They were cute, hilarious looking, and downright delicious. (see pics) All in all, these cupcakes aren't cheap but they're worth every penny. I won't be ordering these every month (gotta keep my boyish figure) but for special occasions these are the perfect treat.

Amazing baker! For any cupcake/cake needs in the future I will be using Liza. She baked my wedding cake and cupcakes. We could not decide on one flavor so we chose several and I have no favorites. They are ALL amazing. Our wedding cake was vanilla cake with coconut frosting and boy was it yummy! All the cakes are moist and so flavorful with delicious frosting. She even decorated with little hearts on top. Perfect touches to my wedding day dessert. We only had a few left over and they were all demolished by morning. Yum yum yum! I have no pictures since we are waiting on our wedding photos but I'll try to remember to post some. Thank you Liza!

I went to Cabo San Lucas for a 40th birthday & ordered cupcakes to bring with me. Liza was super friendly & had them ready on a short notice. I picked them up on the way to the airport and carried them with me on the plane. The birthday dinner wasn't till the next day & I worried the cupcakes would suffer from the travel and sitting... nope. These Salted Caramel Cupcakes stole the show. There were 14 of us and 24 cupcakes... THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT! Thank you!! Delicious is an understatement... yum.
