I call this unique place many times as I like the special atmosphere that is unique to this place. The team is awfuly loyal and well trained. The service is pretty efficient. Also, the food they cook is good. I ate there often and I was always pleased. The pay is reasobable. I recommend this restaurant to to all.

We have been coming here for over 20 years. The food is still amazing, even under the new owners, but the customer service is not what is used to be. So let’s focus on the food. We sat at Teppan for my sons birthday. First course was miso soup. Can’t go wrong there. Salad is delicious, we love their dressing. Fried rice followed by noodles was up next. The noodle are my favorite. I ordered fillet mignon and scallops. The filet melts in your mouth, you don’t even need to chew it. Veggies were up last with sweet carrots. Yummy. So glad I split my meal with my mom. It is so much food. The ambiance is great and the chef was quite funny. Highly recommend Tsuami Sushi for Teppanyaki if you are looking for great food!

this is where Daniel Wozniak was arrested...and he was pretty fat, so if he was celebrating his bachelor party here, the sushi must be pretty good!

New management and it is horrible!! Food was cold and the beer was warm. We asked for garlic butter and they brought us a stick of butter and garlic powder. We showed the owner and they acted like they could not understand us and said sorry and offered free ice cream!! Horrible place!! Do not waste your time and money. I would not feed my dog the food.

Totally tacky now so sad I been coming here for 30 years. they not only got rid of their original menu, They lost their ambiance & good local energy. It's decorated like a fast food hole in the wall. And their sushi is not authentic. I orders a roll it surprising till came with imitation crab which I make sure what I order doesn't have it. I showed them it's not included so they made me another one much more smaller. Regardless this place is long forgotten now.. Many told me not to come back it's not the same but I had to see for myself.

WARNING: SCAM- This is NOT the OLD Tsunami Sushi!!!! My friend and I have been coming here for years and this was a completely different restaurant. They must have changed owners- there is now a totally different staff who sat us at the "Teppan" table but didn't bother to mention that they weren't actually doing teppan due to Covid. We ordered off the teppan menu just to have our food brought to us by hand instead of cooked in front of us (for the same price as normal teppan!!) When I went to speak to the management about it they pretended like they didn't understand English. Then they came around the table to bring sake and offer ice cream- it was clear they were BLATANTLY DECEIVING their customers. The family at the Teppan table next to us also said they believed they were getting real Teppan when they were sat. In addition to the deceit, we all ordered Sapporo's...they brought out 2-3 different kinds of beers- none of them Sapporo- see the photo. No way these were the same beers. When we asked them about it they just ignored us and never came back with an answer. Sad to say goodbye to what was once an awesome restaurant but we will never be back.
