Watertable

This review is going to make me look like a Karen but it’s honest! I eat salmon 3-5 days a week and this was the worst I’ve had in a very long time. I can tell it was frozen before, not fresh. It smelled and tasted fishy. I tried opening it up to see if any part tasted good and it all tasted bad. The mushroom side was good. The fries were ok-ish just normal shoestrings with barely any added flavor. My husband ordered a steak and it was underweight (obviously) and looked stringy. He said it wasn’t very good either. We ordered a glass of reisling and not sure what we received but it didn’t taste like a reisling. The waitress was nice and they seated us quickly. The restaurant was very loud and we couldn’t really hear each other. I take pictures of every meal on vacation typically but didn’t even have the urge to do it for this meal because presentation was nothing special. I would suggest to only go here for the bar and not eat. However, there are other bars on site. With that said, I would avoid this one. There are a couple other places on site that have better food. If you are desperate, the Starbucks store on site has fruit, desserts, sandwiches etc. and beverages to accommodate most, if not all, dietary needs. Don’t make yourself sick on vacation by going to this restaurant! 🥴

We reserved at 5:30pm, arrived at 5
The valets were polite and very nice, also very young.
Although we arrived half an hour early, they didn't make us wait.
We were able to watch the sun fall from the clouds into the sea as we wait for our main dish.
We ordered a share bone marrow, alongside our choice of sea bass and Ahi Tuna.
As someone who normally doesn't like seafood, I was surprised by how good the texture the sea bass had, like butter it melts on my tongue.
I liked the Ahi Tuna more, it had a perfect portion of seasoning. I suggest dipping the raw parts in the sauce (preferably their white wine butter sauce) if you don't like the faint fishy taste. The cooked part doesn't need the sauce, it tastes perfect on its own.
The front desk and the servers were really considerate, as this was our first time being here. They were polite, patient, and understanding. We were also allowed to leave and take some pictures as we were waiting for the dishes.
We sat at the very back, next to the windows, the vibe was so good it feels like we were in a movie.
Overall I really like the experience we had there, will come visit again.

My daughter Jasmine who is heading back to Nashville Tennessee tomorrow she wanted to do some sightseeing in Huntington Beac ! We really enjoyed what we had thank you so very muchh and she chose this cute little restaurant here and we had the avocado toast breakfast for yummy and delicious

We dined at this restaurant twice for the breakfast buffet and the food was delicious. I loved the made to order omelettes and the all the items offered were well prepared. The fruit was fresh and sweet. We dined outside and enjoyed the lovely views. The staff here are professional, polite, and courteous. We recommend dining here.

We made reservations only to wait 20 more minutes once we arrived to get a table. Food arrived 1 hour after we placed our order.

Avocado toast was very light on the avocado and heavy on the arugula. A thin piece of bread with 1/4 a small avocado on it is a poor substitute for food. Barely cafeteria worthy. Won’t return.

The Watertable restaurant at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach is our go to when staying there. The staff is really nice and the food is consistently delicious. We really enjoy sitting inside and outside near a fire pit. Make sure you get your valet ticket validated so the total is only $10. Great atmosphere.

We go here every time we want breakfast. Been coming here ever since they first opened. The service has been great always and food amazing. Got to know a few of the staff Emily. Anthony on our last visit. The sitting area outside is great. Love this place. We don’t even live close by. It’s approximately over an hour and forty five minutes drive. Get to walk by the beach later. Thank You.

My family and I walked over here from one of the neighboring hotels and were blown away by the breakfast. I ordered the Garden Benedict and just, wow. It actually made me like onions. Probably the best breakfast I've had since coming to California two weeks ago, seriously.
